SUNDAY PRAYER & DEVOTIONAL with Apostle Loretta Williams

TOPIC:  I’m Battle Weary, Lord I Need A Breakthrough!

SUB: TOPIC:  Release, Let Go and Break Forth!

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:  There are a lot of saints who are being held captive by the enemy, our adversary, the Devil.  He has a grip on our minds by tormenting us with fear, worry, anxiety and doubt.  It’s not that we don’t trust God, we’re simply not applying the Word where it needs to be put in order to have positive results!

SCRIPTURE  TEXT: (2 Corinthians 10:5)  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

Apostle Loretta Williams is on Face Book, Google+ and Linked In.

January Jones-Diva In the Dugout-Arlene Hittle

    in Women

But she’s been a writer since second grade. That was when she started filling her great-grandpa’s giant sketchbook with story after story — most of them about little girls who found puppies, because she wanted one. She didn’t get that puppy until she was out on her own. She did, however, know early on that she wanted to entertain others with her fiction.

With three books published by Turquoise Morning Press (Diva in the Dugout, Beauty and the Ballplayer and Sliding into Home) and two indie stories out there (Home for the Holidays and Blind Date Bride), that lifelong ambition is becoming reality.

    Meet Arlene Hittle:

She is a member of Northern Arizona Romance Writers of America and currently serves as the chapter’s president. She has a B.S. in journalism from the University of Evansville (Indiana) and has worked in the newspaper industry as a reporter or copy editor/page designer since 1994. After being laid off in September 2014, she’s  freelancing as a copy editor and proofreader.

January Jones present Ann Zuccardy ATTH

    in Motivation

A freak accident in a German bathtub changed the way Ann Zuccardy perceived the world. With no protocol for rehab from the resulting brain injury, Ann resolved to make her own way. In the process, she created a mild traumatic brain injury support group and became an advocate for others. In her 2013 TEDx talk, How a Brain Injury Made Me Smarter, Ann redefined what being smart meant to her.

When her brain no longer allowed her to live her life and earn a living the old way, she discovered the innate qualities that keep creativity alive in all of us. Ann has used these creative insights (what she calls “the new smart”) to reinvent her career and personal life.  In her 2014 TEDx talk, Ann revealed what she learned about neuroplasticity through her post-TBI trials and errors.  Now, as a consultant and speaker, she helps businesses and individuals get smarter… without whacking any heads!

  • Food for Thought: "Lack of Journalistic Integrity is Domination" w/Karen Tate

    in Spirituality

Special Show Tonight...Food for Thought: Series

"How the Lack of Journalistic Integrity is Domination"

Recently I've been enrolled in classes sponsored by Riane Eisler's Center for Partnership Studies and we've been learning about domination vs partnership structures of society.   We learn that there are ways to be in partnership with your self, your intimate others, your community, the world and within a spirituality.  I connect the dots between partnership as a value within Goddess spirituality.   Likewise, we learn to recognize domination, exploitation, oppression; all hallmarks of patriarchy and today's predator capitalism.  Tonight the domination I'd like to crack open and examine involves the corporate-owned media and the damage it's doing to our society.

Maybe you've been watching how the ratings and money driven media has been dominating the conversation, interfering with democracy, controlling the minds of the masses.  Here is a presentation I made as part of my class on the Power of Partnership, discussing the lack of journalistic integrity as just one form of domination and the importance of being aware.
