Religious freedom, Obama-care or laws of hypocrisy; School Boards gone $ crazy!

    in Politics Conservative

Showtime 8AM-10AM EST:  Join me "In the Pickle Barrel" as we discuss the Indiana "religious freedom law". We will also take a look at Political candidates who have slammed Obama-care and all things about it; however, they have accepted grants and other dollars to support their State's needs.

Following the same premise, Pickens County, SC School Board trustee, Alex Saiitawe, will be joining us "In the Pickle Barrel" as we take a look at the Pickens County, SC School Board financial actions to determine if local entities are any better, or worse, than any other political group. I think you know the answer.

Also, Republicans once again warn world theyu can change Obama's agreements. Smart or dangerous?

JESUS DENIED HIMSELF IN ORDER TO DIE FOR US

    in Christianity

Our LORD Jesus Christ never ask us to do what He has not already done. [Heb 4:15 NIV] For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are--yet he did not sin.

[Mat 16:24 KJV] 24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

20 Life Skills Not Taught In School

    in Entertainment

http://Successful Student A resource for students to excel.

    From http://successfulstudent.org/

The following is an excerpt from: Successful Student

An education should involve learning life skills that a person will carry with them after college in order to navigate relationships and careers and be a well-rounded, successful person. This article has compiled 20 life skills not taught in school, which are valuable in life in general. Though high school and college is excellent in teaching many valuable skills, our current academic curriculum doesn’t teach many aspects necessary to succeeding and thriving in life in general, such as financial responsibilities and investments, how to think logically–retaining information and not merely temporarily memorizing information, and how to apply such abilities to real-world scenarios which are bound to occur.

Join Zaiyah and Uptown as they discuss this and other interesting topics in this edition of Zaiyah's House.
