True to our word we remained off air until retail rebounded. Actually we were just enjoying a longer than anticipated sabbatical.

Downsizing is a dangerous term in today's economy as this country still tries to recover and too many are still out of work but there is a "downsizing" movement hitting retail. The best evidence is Walmart and their Neighborhood Market concept, bringing smaller footprint stores into areas they otherwise would not consider. Couple that with the JC Penney concept of developing small "stores within a store" and the downsizing of retail is on! Listen in as Bob and Jerry discuss this movement and whether it can save struggling retailers such as Best Buy while also giving the 800-pound gorilla that is Walmart an even bigger slice of the pie!
