Its just about that time! Soon we will know if the Supreme Court will dare to challenge the order of God for humanity and thus impact the nation totally. I would say still the church has no idea what threshold we are standing at. Will schools and bible believing churches be forced to change their positions on such fundamental principles of scripture in order to comply with government? " Big Brother also is insisting that you be held totally responsible for your child's absences in school to the point of arrest for too many unexcused absences?
This week, I'd like to talk about sex, and how the topic of sex isnt being discussed as broadly as some might hope. I'm talking about the disabled.
All too often, when the topic of sex, relationships, etc comes up, people often don't bring up people who are disabled, and disabled in many ways.
We need to broaden the discussion, and include as many people as possible, and not just assume that one or more portions of our population, can't
have, isn't interested or doesn't think about sex. We need to change this type of ignorant behavior and start including everyone in the discussion.
So let's enhance the discussion. This week. "On-Air".

Have you ever heard of the phrase, "Behavioral continuum?" Don't worry, most people have not. A continuum is where there are distinct extremes on opposite sides of a spectrum. In behavioral continuum can be viewed as a behavior that swings drastically either way past a neutral state. Perfectionism is best understood by describing it as a behavioral continuum where the behavior on either end of the continuum (spectrum) is excessive. Most people picture perfectionism as a good thing. They see ambitious goals being met, promptness, attention to detail and high expectations achieved. Yet if we were to peer at the motivation behind the behaviors it might tell a darker story, a story that may need to be addressed.
Listen to the show as we look at the strengths and weaknesses of perfectionism towards a more balanced and happy life!

Johnny Strozier was a Georgia prisoner for 46 years (from 1968 to 2013) and served about 15 of those years in solitary confinement. Call-in to speak on air at 347.857.3293. Strozier was initially arrested at age 6, when he and friends burglarized an Atlanta warehouse to steal cigarettes for family members and candy for themselves. He was first imprisoned at age 10. His sentence was lengthened numerous times due to his lack of cooperation with juvenile detention rules. Later, his sentence was lengthened to 90 years after assaulting a prison guard.
Strozier's warden told him he would never exit prison alive because he often escaped and was involved in gang activity, but Strozier changed. He became a Christian in the 1980s. Strozier became active in church, married, and gained his high school diploma while still incarcerated. He also became a certified cook and brick mason. Since prison release, Strozier works, counsels youths, and faithfully attends church. Strozier has been presented to speak at prestigious engagements before college student bodies, civil rights officials, and church congregations. In fact, Strozier assembled a group of churches and individuals to help other released inmates find subsistence assistance, encouragement, and a spiritual family.
Strozier will share information about reentry opportunities, the importance of avoiding behavior that leads to incarceration, and he plans interviews with persons who can share valuable information that will improve lives of former inmates and at-risk youths. Phone Strozier at 678.516.4993.
In this episode, I'll discuss how you can use everyday situations to teach your children about responsible money management in age appropriate ways. You can educate your kids about budgeting, prices, and sales tax at the grocery store. You can explain mortages, interest rates, student loans and credit cards to your teenagers. Paying your children commissions for doing their chores will help them make the connection between work and money at an early age. Teaching your kids about money can be a fun, hands-on experience for both of you!
