Please join me in talking with one of the co-founders of the Fur-Angel Foundation (FAF) from the state of Hawaii. FAF is a non-profit organization run fully on the donations and support from local businesses and people who just want to lend a hand. The foundation was started by a group of friends who wanted to help needy animals, thus the Fur-Angel Foundation was born. In this episode we will talk to one of FAF's co-founders, Kylie Nakachi, about how she got involved in animal rescue and her work with Tails of Hawaii. Kylie is a professional groomer who has years of experience caring for animals, specializing in bottle-babies. Hear how animal rescue has transformed and impacted her life.

During his speech, Obama compared violence committed in the name of other religions, especially Christianity during the Crusades, to the problems the world faces today in the Middle East.“Everything he does is against what Christians stand for, and he’s against the Jews in Israel,” Huckabee said. “The one group of people that can know they have his undying, unfailing support would be the Muslim community. “This president couldn’t watch a western from the ’50s and know the difference between the good guys and the bad guys, even if John Wayne was starring in the film.” Mike Huckabee Daily Caller
Think it’s easy being a kid these days? Think again: peer pressure, social pressure, finances, bullying, divorce, standardized testing, guns, drugs, school violence, abusive adults, low self-esteem, and more. These are many of the same problems that adults face, but as adults we typically have coping skills. But even though adults have coping skills, many still have difficulty dealing with these situations. So how do we expect kids to effectively handle these situations? More importantly, how and where do kids learn the social and emotional skills they need to cope with the life challenges they will ultimately face? The lucky kids will meet Staci Ellis, a child and adult psychotherapist who specializes in trauma. Years ago, Staci created a mock brochure for her young nephew which provided advice and preparation for life challenges. From that idea, Staci developed Life Stuff for Kids, a forum for kids to express and exchange thoughts on life challenges. Kids need to know they have someone to turn to for help and resources to get them through life’s difficulties. Staci Ellis knows more than most on that subject. She began as a Therapeutic Support Staff with a non-profit, served hundreds of families as a Mobile Therapist and Behavior Specialist for 15 years, then became a Trauma Therapist working with kids and adults. She taught parents and school staff behavior management skills and provided professional training on Trauma and Children to bachelor, masters, and doctoral level attendees, and facilitated a class for separating parents called Children in the Middle. 1 SAMUEL 30 1-3 By the time David and his menENTERED the village, it had been burned to the ground, and their wives, sons, and daughters all taken prisoner. All of us face difficulties in our lives. But we can have victory over them if we keep our eyes on God. As David sat among the ruins of Ziklag and men spoke of stoning him, he had a choice. David could allow grief and bitterness to conquer him; he could sink into the black hole ofDEPRESSION and give up and quit. Or he could fightBACK.
But before David could fight, he would have to get his strength and courage back. David saw nothing but discouraged and downcast men. David had no one to encourage him, so he had only one recourse: He "encouraged himself in the Lord his God”.
As a young child, K.N.U, and everyone around him, knew that he truly was a different breed. He grew up in mostly small town settings, but moved a lot and ended up staying in Brown County Ohio ages 5-15 for the most part. K.N.U was so different from the rest of the people in his area, that he chose to stay at home and listen to music to escape more often then not. K.N.U listened to Rock&Roll all throughout his childhood. At the age of 15 he moved to Manchester Ky, where he decided to try his hand at both drums and bass guitar. He enjoyed both but decided neither of which suited him best. At the same time of realizing such, he moved back to Brown and Clermont County OH. He went to school like a normal kid, he did work for family friends to support himself financially, when one day he decided he wanted something more out of life, he never had an answer when people would ask what he wanted to be when he grew up, and decided it was time to find an answer. He took off into the world and researched everything he could possibly think of, and the only jobs that interested him were pertaining to art. After trying instruments, tattooing, drawing, painting, and more art, he finally decided those were hobbies rather then careers, at least for him. Then one day, he picked up a pad of paper and a pencil, turned on a beat, and wrote his first "rap song". He recorded a video of him delivering his flow on his phone camera, and uploaded it to "Facebook". The next thing you know, he became known as an artist, and all of his friends and more where asking for more. He then invested in equipment and started a team named "Ride Er Die" with no knowledge of sound quality, business strategies, or any knowledge in the music world whatsoever at that. K.N.U recorded roughly 20 tracks and uploaded them to "youtube"(which are still currently uploaded).

Growing up in the late 80's Michael developed his love of film spending endless hours alongside his father, an avid movie buff before him who would often out of fun quiz him on the various film watched. From Vhs rental's to the weekly family trip to "the show" Film was ingrained into Michael's character. It wasn't until his father showed him the first "Back to The Future" film that Michael knew he would dedicate his life to the art of film.
Teeming with imagination, Michael was never short of ideas. Always creating short stories, daydreaming and filling his head with the many narratives of 90's. As time passed and his interest grew his parents encouraged him to seek out classes and workshops that would help him perfect his craft. After graduating both High School and a Production workshop in the same year Michael went on to Columbia College Chicago where he completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Video in spring 2005. As Staff Director of Puissant Productions, Michael brings his creative enthusiasm and energy to the team. Michael is currently Directing the feature film Untitled Zombie Movie set to release October 2015.

Do you ever wonder why so many issues are happening at once and who is benefitting? Where on earth did the idea of regional versus local control of our schools, health, and water originate? How do all of these topics overlap and what is the ultimate goal?
Debbie Bacigalupi, a requested speaker throughout the West, will be detailing history, political, economic, and environmental issues that impact every single one of us and explain how all of these issues are related to the present and “future generations” with an emphasis on water and private property rights. Miss Bacigalupi will share what she’s garnered from conferences she has attended – like the 2012 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, the Navigating the American Carbon World on Cap-n-Trade, the Western Governors Association CHAT Conference on Drought, and many Fish and Wildlife meetings and hearings on the Endangered Species Act. What do these items have to do with our behavior and future? An avid researcher, this daughter of ranchers and farmers iis known for her lively and interactive presentation on the threats of wolves to dam removals, water supply, and the people who supply our food.
