In 2014 The Fearless Are Redeemed!
Isaiah 43:1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
This year is the time for the rebirthing of new thoughts, new attitude, new actions and responses. To rebirth is to move forward to let go of that which was old and birth that which is to become new. How much are you willing to let go? How much are you really ready to change? What will it take to change?... A THOUGHT...Its A Mind Thing! (Cass)

Randy Cooper has had many jobs and careers, ranging from lumberjack in the woods of the Pacific Northwest to serving as a special education teacher, from an operator at a Westinghouse plant to a developer and teacher of the Total Quality Management program at two of their facilities. As an artist, he credits his attention to detail to this latter experience at Westinghouse. Randy's mother was a master carver of birds and gunstocks, and one of his sisters is an accomplished painter, sculptor, and author. It wasn’t until Randy was nearly 50 that he discovered his own penchant for art. His first experience with art education was taking a 6-week course with sculptor Wren Prather-Stroud.
He also attended a week-long course with Tuck Langland at the Scottsdale Artists' School. After working successfully in clays, artificial stone, and bronzes, Randy discovered wire mesh, which soon became his medium. He began creating intriguing and magical sculptures in wire mesh and has developed all of the techniques that he uses in making his “Shadow Sculptures” on his own. These are forms created in wire screen that cast lovely shadows on the wall when lit with a light source. Indeed, sometimes the shadows seem to show more detail than the original sculpture and instill a feeling of magic into the creation. These “Shadow Sculptures” have been sweeping the United States and the world for the past few years, highlighting many private collections throughout the world, and Randy Cooper has become a major force among America's contemporary artists.Randy works as a full-time sculptor and lives in New Mexico with his wife, Susan, a former environmental engineer who is now a writer and an artist who has worked primarily in pastels, oils, and acrylics. In 1995, Bartley Williams was a typical 16yr old, who had just gotten his driver's license. Life was good. He was playing football, had just seen a Beach Boys Concert, was enjoying the company of his girl...And then as happens far too often, an accident changed his life for good. Bartley will share his story with us, but even more, with his germinating interest in TBI Awareness. He is an adminstrator on "The Patient Directed Health Care Group", started by Ruth Lycke, and hopes to help others who are struggling with the trials of Brain Injury.
This show is a gathering place for anyone seeking recovery from the challenges of life on life's terms. I introduce topics, and survivor's share their experience, strength and hope. We discuss useful tools that have helped us lighten the load, of our journey through recovery.
More will be revealed! Tune in, stop in and call in. This is a "we" recovery program, because it is in the "we," that we find the new "me."
We focus on the four A's of Recovery...Awareness, Acceptance, Action and Adaptation. This is a place for survivor's striving to become thrivers. :)
Some nights we will have a featured guest, and others we will introduce a topic of recovery, encouraging callers to join us in the discussion. The second part of the show is Open Mic and some great Indy Music, sure to inspire!

About the Tour.
SISFI is hosting our Suicide Awareness and Prevention NY Tour on Sept. 17th - Oct 3rd across NYC, Long Island and Westchester to bring more awareness, services, programs and resources to address the increasing numbers of people facing serious life and emotional challenges, and human suffering with suicide ideations/thoughts, and supporting families who lost loved ones to suicide.
The theme of the tour is “Look into my heart and mind, tell me what you see”. It highlights the realities of not knowing what’s in a person’s mind or on their heart by what we see on the outside, and that we must engage in dialog and allow an open and comfortable atmosphere for people to open up and express themselves. The workshops and radio shows of the tour are scheduled at different times every day across the 3 cities.
We have aligned 15 community workshops, 3 luncheons and 15 radio shows to bring people, mental health professionals, energy therapists, health professionals, survivors and healers together to address this very serious and important topic affecting many people in our communities. While the community workshops are local in the 3 cities, the radio shows will have guests from across the country who lost loved ones, and practitioners who specializes in the support, treatment, recovery and healing of mental health, life coaching, emotional wellness and human suffering.
For full schedule of the tour check the website http://sisfi.org/suicidetours.html.
