Move along, Republicans. There's not much to see in your primary on 9/9/ Dems, on the other hand, hie to the polls and come prepared with your choices. For the GOP, only the Governor slot is contested, and most statewide slots have no Republican offerings. For Democrats nearly every office is, most with three candidates.
Of course, we'll talk about the virtually certain Charlie Baker for team elephant and who is likely to go against him. Besides the Democrat, there'll be multiple independent candidates. Evan Falchuk is the outlier here; his new United Independent Party is not yet recognized by the commonwealth as a party.
Dems also have rousing battles for Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, and Treasurer, as well as some further down-ballot offices. Check our archives here or at Left Ahead for interviews.

Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?
There are always at least two sides to every story. Have you ever wondered how someone, who saw the same thing you did, walked away telling a vastly different story? Which version was correct? Which one was the REAL story? Actually, both are! It’s just a matter of perspective.
Joe takes the issues… especially the controversial issues (politics, prejudice, religion, illegal immigration)… and brings in people from different sides to share their viewpoint. This is definitely not a fluff piece. And while no one is attacked, the questions are hard-hitting.
But the conversation is always respectful and you’re sure to learn something new, even if you don’t agree!
If you’ve always wondered how the “other side” thinks and how they’ve arrived at their “stand”, then this is the show for you!
It’s not the right side, it’s not the wrong side, but the REAL side of the issues!

From the internal struggle with the Establishment of the party against the Tea Party types to the constant lambasting by media who for the most part carry water for progressive liberals, from the outside. Today's show revovles around the Florida Governor Race and the continued bad strategy on behalf of the Republican Party of Florida. The RPOF continues to practice politics as if it was 1984. Their loack of attention to the urban community may have worked in the mid-eighties, but surely they must understand that we live in a different time.
It is true that current Republican Governor rick Scott fwill most likely face the clownish Charlie Crist in November general election but, Crist is busy showing up in urban areas all over Florida pushing the Obama company line about evil Republicans and conservatives. Scott and the RPOF must mount a counter to this or face a humiliating defeat in November.
