July 3, 2014: As many Americans look to maintain healthy and active lifestyles up to and through their retirement years, some are finding their knees are struggling to keep up. Wear and tear can lead to osteoarthritis, which can lead to debilitating pain. And increasingly, people are turning to knee replacement surgery to help solve this problem.
In this episode, orthopedic surgeon Brian Burnikel, MD, and physical therapist Jackie DelGiorno, PT, DPT, OCS, discuss what patients face when they elect to get a total knee replacement - from the crucial pre-operative conditioning, to the surgery itself, to the almost immediate physical therapy that follows, and the long-term prognosis.

June 5, 2014: While it is estimated that 25% of people may develop hip osteoarthritis by age 85, an increasing number of Americans are not waiting that long to address painful hip joints. Total hip replacement surgeries are growing in popularity to meet the needs of an aging, yet active, Baby Boomer population.
In today's episode, Mary Milidonis, PT, PhD, discusses the symptoms that may lead to total hip replacement, and the recovery process after surgery.

Currently, the trend in Western Medicine is Testosterone replacement therapies, much like the well-known Estrogen therapies which trended about 2 decades ago and mostly burned out due to medical lawsuits. We're already seeing TV ads for lawyers looking to pursue class-action lawsuits for adverse effects from testosterone therapies. We'll discuss what's really going on with your body when you are so depleted that the gonads themselves are compromised. For most people, your gonads aren't actually the problem as a primary diagnostic. Getting back to Chinese 5-element basics, we'll simplify your healing to keep you away from these dangerous methods of hormonal restoration.
Replacement Theology is the view that God terminated his program with Israel and replaced it with the church. Dispensationalists believe that God has two separate programs. One is where he fulfills an earthly land promise to Israel, and a second where the church gets what some might call the "pie in the sky" promise, called the heavenly promise.
For this reason, they believe God's covenant with the nation of Israel revealed in the Bible is irrevocable. They conclude the church is an accident or side program that does not alter God's relationship with the covenant nation revealed in the Bible. Here are Four questions we will answer in this broadcast.
1. What is a Jew or Israelite?
2. Did God cast off Israel in creating the church?
3. Were the Jews in the N.T. able to prove that Paul was guilty of Replacement Theology?
4. Does the church have a different hope than that which Israel had?
