The Mission Is Remission:
Pat Williams' book is filled with encouragement, insight and realistic hope. If you are battling cancer, or know someone who is, this book is a must-read.
Pat Williams’ world changed in January, 2011 when his doctor completed his physical with the words, “There’s something in your blood work we’re not sure about.” Pat was diagnosed with a rare and incurable blood cancer, multiple myeloma.
As one of the millions of people to have experienced cancer, Pat first asked “Why me?” After calling on his faith, his family and his fighting spirit, Pat asked, “Why not me?” Williams’ mantra became "The mission is remission." After rounds of chemotherapy and a stem cell treatment, he succeeded in the fight of his life: the myeloma can no longer be detected in his body.
In THE MISSION IS REMISSION, Williams shares his story and the six essential healing factors that helped him win his battle.
Basketball hall-of-famer Pat Williams is the founder and senior vice president of the NBA’s Orlando Magic.
Williams is the author of over 85 books. He and his wife, Ruth, are the parents of 19 children, including 14 adopted from four nations.

She received her B.A. from Harvard University, and did her Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley, where her dissertation focused on the Radical Remission of cancer, which is a remission that occurs either in the absence of Western medicine, or after Western medicine has failed to achieve remission.
The Radical Remission Project, which she founded, is an innovative website dedicated both to collecting new cases of Radical Remission for research purposes, and to connecting Radical Remission survivors with current cancer patients. Her new book, RADICAL REMISSION: The Nine Key Factors That Can Make a Real Difference, encapsulates the fascinating findings of her research.

Blessed and beautiful! Brandi Maxiell may be known for her dueling arguments as a reality star on VH1’s “Basketball Wives LA,” but she’s battled a much tougher opponent and won – that is, ovarian cancer. Today, she’s a wife. A mother. A cancer survivor.
In the prime of her life, Brandi was stricken with ovarian cancer. After months of surgery and treatment, her cancer is now in remission. Ovarian cancer ranks fifth in cancer deaths among women and accounts for more deaths than any other cancer of the female reproductive system.
In August 2009, Brandi had her dream wedding to NBA player Jason Maxiell. The couple immediately began trying to start a family, but Brandi discovered that she had fertility issues. She went through various IVF fertility treatments that failed. Eventually, she’d give birth to a miracle baby in 2011. And now, she’s working on baby #2.
Despite being married to a basketball player, money can’t buy good health! Brandi is a real woman with real health issues that affect millions of women around the globe. Cancer and infertility are the top health concern for women, and Brandi will share her story with all of you.
Brandi will join Take 2 Radio on Tuesday, September 16th at 8pm eastern time.
We go "Way Over the Rainbow" tonight with host Andrew Martin. This marks an exciting new hour, focusing on LGBT news, politics and entertainment. Andrew introduces guests, plays great music, and hopes to delve into serious LGBT culture while at the same time keeping the ambience light and fun.
Tonight's guests are Broadway legends Andrea McArdle and Shelley Bruce. Best friends since childhood when they were both striving to become young stars, Ms. McArdle received a Tony nomination for creating the title role in "Annie" at the Alvin Theater. She subsequently proceeded to make further theatrical history in such musicals as "Starlight Express" and "State Fair." Ms. Bruce, who played one of the orphans in the original company of "Annie," took over the title role when McArdle left the show, and was making headlines not merely for that but also a string of television commercials and the horror film "The Burning" in 1981, but was struck ill by leukemia soon after; now, after over three decades in remission, she retains a very happy existence as a suburban soccer mom in New Jersey. The two still have an impenetrable bond as best friends, and completely enjoy their mutual adoration from the LGBT community as indisputable icons.
Time to Look back, look around, and decide if one is ready to move into the complex anatomy of Repentance for Remission of Sin. If yes, one must begin with understanding, acknowledging and repenting of sins, transgressions, and trespasses against God.

Join James and Janeen as we take a look at the Ice Bucket Challenge for what it really is, an occult ritual mimicking (as they always do) the Bible's practice of remission of sins through baptism. The cure for ALS is the bait to get people to either do the challenge or donate to the cure. The catch being that a company called ISIS is the main recipient of donations.
