    Let's talk...God is not Religious - The Act's Church - 9

    in Christianity

Participants are encouraged to present their spiritual questions, queries and struggles, whereby the host will attempt with the aid of scripture and the Holy Spirit's inspiration to provide adequate instruction, correction, inspiration and encouragement.  Comments and exhortation may also be solicited from the other participants within the bounds of relevance and congeniality.  The overall objective will be to create a liberated atmosphere where people feel free and comfortable to share their concerns and get their longtime, internalized questions at the least addressed and ideally answered.  This format is being employed to stir discussion and participation amongst God’s people and counter the current spectator, one-way monologue program that is being practiced in most contemporary church worship services today.  The goal being to allow the Holy Spirit the freedom, time and interaction to bring knowledge, wisdom, healing and support to the members of Christ’s body, for one another and by one another.  As well as, inviting outside seekers of truth into a non-intimidating, non-traditionally religious setting of dialogue, where they can pose their questions without fear of judgment and openness and acceptance in a spirit of love and mutual engagement.  Join us as we pierce through the darkness & cut our way through the murky waters of what Christianity has become today, so as to find the freedom that Christ intended us to have, in the same way he taught & shared when he walked & lived life among the people. What was the Act's Church & were we meant depart from it into what Church has become today. And if we have, how did we get there? Join us as we unravel these questions & tackle many more which has made Christianity into what it is today.ian faith.

    in Spirituality

Many people believe that being religious is a good thing. However, those same people fail to realize that religion will send you straight to Hell! These verse will teach us tonight that it is not what we do externally that saves our souls, but it is what happens internally that determines where we will spend eternity. As we finish these last verse of chapter 2, let's look at them very carefully. While the Lord is speaking directly to the Jewish people and their boast in the Law, He could just as well be speaking to Baptists this evening.

We need to know that Hell will be just as filled with the religious as it will be with the rank sinner. These verses tell us why! Let's spend some time looking at God's Judgment Of The Religious Man.

  • C.D. The Big Weekend - Ju'mah & Justice

    in Islam

Tomorrow (Friday, November 8, 2015), we will redo history, as Muslims from across the nation, will converge with dignity and peace, upon Washington D.C., for the Friday, Ju'mah service, aptly titled, Islam on Capitol Hill.

The keynote and organizer, Imam Abdul-Malik, by Allah's Grace and Mercy, has had the insight to organize this event, to proclaim the worship of Our Lord, and to state to the world, that neither Al-Islam or Muslims, are inherent enemies to this or any other country on earth.

As we understand the commonality of faith and purpose, which is shared by adherents of the Torah and Gospel, much can and will be done, towards strengthening the moral fiber of society at liege.

Then, on Saturday, October 10th, in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Million Man March, we will be there for Justice or Else ..., which by the very theme, speaks to what many have argued, has been a denial of justice, in light of the well-publicized killings of black people, by law enforcement or otherwise.

The cry is real; just as the cry of those mothers and fathers, who have lost their precious children, to the ever-expanding abyss, known as "the streets".

As a heads-up, we may air a special edition of Critical Discourse, tomorrow afternoon, after the Ju'mah service.

Why Do Women Choose The Wrong Men Knowing They Are The Wrong Men?

    in Romance

What is one of the biggest reasons marriages and relationships fail?  Communication, right?  Loyalty, right?  Commitment, right?  Well, before you even get to any of those points… the person needs to be able to fulfill those attributes.  Particularly, women have been accused of selecting the wrong man and then cry wolf once the connection fails.  Ultimately, should woman be held MORE responsible for the demise in relationships, due to of their lack of scrutiny/or realistically evaluating their mate, than society has been giving them credit for?  This is a very concerning question in our community in particular…

Episode 386: Sexual sins and the evils they bring on a society!

    in Politics Conservative

Sexual sins and the evils they bring on a society! Salon.com has a couple of articles about pedophiles that I will share with you on today's show. All sex outside of marriage is sin, and needs to be condemned, especially the sin of pedophilia. For a man or a woman to claim they are born that way and have a right to practice pedophilia is a direct result of people claiming they were born LBGT and have a right to practice sin also, and force us to accept their behavior.

“Public virtue,” wrote John Adams, “cannot exist in a nation without private [virtue], and public virtue is the only foundation of republics” (John Adams to Mercy Warren, April 16, 1776).

    Yes...God will provide!!!

    in Religion

Yes, we have all heard the expression, "God will provide."  But which God???  There is only one God, but HE seems to have many names, Yaweh, Allah, Jesus...etc. The concept of God is not a strange one. The ancient Greeks and Romans attributed many things to the gods...the sun rising in the skies, love, or the movement of the tides. But in today's society, many people call the government "God." What do they mean by this???  We will be discussing ths on our show this evening. Once again, the Republican Party is always referring to God. We will be tackling this tonight as well. Call us at 646-595-3275 and share your opinions.
