Episode 335: Socialism, do we have to like it?

    in Politics Conservative

“Regardless of your religious beliefs, Larry Reed proves it takes a wild leap of imagination to view Jesus as a Progressive Socialist. This is a critically important issue because secular Progressives would like to control the moral high ground by capturing religion to support their elitist, statist ideology, which would allow them to do even more damage to genuine human flourishing.” — John A. WORLD WIDE AFRICA THE VOICE OF THE PAN AFRICAN MOVEMENT

    in Politics

My understanding of Malcolm's "THE BALLOT OR THE BULLET" is steeped in the knowledge of the Slave law or Code de Noir. In chapter 7, "FREE SOCIAL WORSHIP AND RELIGIOUS WORSHIP AND RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION PROHIBITED"..The Government not only permits the Master to forbid the free social worship and religious instruction of his slaves, at his pleasure, but it also steps in with direct prohibitions of its own, which even the Master himself may not relax or abrogate..........He is restrained, as we have seen, from bestowing upon his slave, an education that would increase his usefulness, or of employing him to do any kind of writing! The slave may be used so, as to be used up in SEVEN YEARS; may be used as ad breeder, as. Prostitute, as an attendant at the gaming tables, as a subject of MEDICAL AND SURGICAL EXPERIMENTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF SCIENCE, an d the Legislature makes no  objections against it. "William Goodell

"By ballot I only mean freedom. Don't you know -- I disagree with Lomax on this issue -- that the ballot is more important than the dollar? Can I prove it? Yes. Look in the UN. There are poor nations in the UN; yet those poor nations can get together with their voting power and keep the rich nations from making a move. They have one nation -- one vote, everyone has an equal vote. And when those brothers from Asia, and Africa and the darker parts of this earth get together, their voting power is sufficient to hold Sam in check. Or Russia in check. Or some other section of the earth in check. So, the ballot is most important.

    Open Conversation

    in Politics Conservative

Last week, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission dropped an astounding ruling: By a 3-2 vote, it concluded that “sexual orientation is inherently a ‘sex-based consideration,’ and an allegation of discrimination based on sexual orientation is necessarily an allegation of sex discrimination under Title VII.”

This is a big deal: The Commission’s recommendations shape rulings on federal employees’ workplace-discrimination claims, and its field offices deal with claims made by employees at private organizations, as well. But the ruling is also a reminder of how complicated—and unresolved—the post-Obergefell legal landscape is. The Supreme Court’s ruling in favor of same-sex marriage at the end of June has set the country up for two new waves of discrimination claims: those made by same-sex couples and LGBT workers, and those made by religious Americans who oppose same-sex marriage. The two may seem distinct or even opposed, but they’re actually intertwined: In certain cases, extending new rights to LBGT workers will necessarily lead to religious-freedom objections, and vice versa.

Let's talk...God is not Religious - The Person of the Holy Spirit - Part 11

    in Christianity

Participants are encouraged to present their spiritual questions, queries and struggles, whereby the host will attempt with the aid of scripture and the Holy Spirit's inspiration to provide adequate instruction, correction, inspiration and encouragement.  Comments and exhortation may also be solicited from the other participants within the bounds of relevance and congeniality.  The overall objective will be to create a liberated atmosphere where people feel free and comfortable to share their concerns and get their longtime, internalized questions at the least addressed and ideally answered.  This format is being employed to stir discussion and participation amongst God’s people and counter the current spectator, one-way monologue program that is being practiced in most contemporary church worship services today.  The goal being to allow the Holy Spirit the freedom, time and interaction to bring knowledge, wisdom, healing and support to the members of Christ’s body, for one another and by one another.  As well as, inviting outside seekers of truth into a non-intimidating, non-traditionally religious setting of dialogue, where they can pose their questions without fear of judgment and openness and acceptance in a spirit of love and mutual engagement.  Join us as we pierce through the darkness & cut our way through the murky waters of what Christianity has become today, so as to find the freedom that Christ intended us to have, in the same way he taught & shared when he walked & lived life among the people. What was the Act's Church & were we meant depart from it into what Church has become today. And if we have, how did we get there? Join us as we unravel these questions & tackle many more which has made Christianity into what it is today.ian faith.

Andre Controversa Presents: Same Sex Marriage: Did SCOTUS Overreach?

    in Politics Conservative

    All,

This is Andre Traversa, host of the Andre Controversa show at www.blogtalkradio.com/andrecontroversa, also linked at www.libertarianrepublican.net.

Tonight's topic will be the SCOTUS same sex marriage ruling, with four guests weighing in on the issue.

As usual, conservatives were more willing to go on the air than liberals, but I did manage to get one moderate/liberal voice to join our panel discussion.

His name is Christopher Hale, and he is with Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good.

They have what they call a more "nuanced," approach to the ruling.

Also joining us is Travis Webber, religious freedom specialist at the Family Research Council, who will share his concerns about the ruling's potential impact on religious liberty.

The legal angle will come from Ken Connelly, legal counsel with the Alliance Defending Freedom.

And last but not least, we will be jointed by the brilliant economics professor Jennifer Roback Morse, founder of the Ruth Institute, who will make her case for a libertarian defense of heterosexual marriage.

The show begins at 9-00 p.m. CT, and we're set up to run for two hours; but we may end the show early; I just don't want to be cut off the air right after the first 60 minutes.

I may add a few surprise guests at the last minute as well.

Please feel free to call in at 914-803-4350, and tune in at 9-00 p.m. Ct for another exercise in Controversa controversy.

    Talk to you later,

    Andre¬

  • ODWIRA: NANASOM: Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit Ancestral Religion - Key to Liberation

    in Education

In this episode of ODWIRA, we demonstrate that Nanasom - Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Ancestral Religion is the key to our liberation as Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African~Black) people. We have been emotionally, intellectually and psychologically castrated and spayed by the pseudo-religions of the whites and their offspring. Our lack of focus and movement towards and the achievement of independence on our own land as self-governing people is the result of such spiritual enslavement. It is through the re-embracing of our Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Ancestral Religious traditions in their various forms (Akan, Yoruba, Fon, Ewe, Igbo, Bakongo, etc.) inclusive of their manifestations in the western hemisphere (Hoodoo (Akan), Juju (Yoruba), Voodoo (Fon, Ewe), etc.) that we re-embrace Divine Order and move accordingly. Divine Order is comprised of Two Complementary Poles: Divine Law/Love and Divine Hate. When we embrace Divine Order via our Ancestrally inherited ritual practices we exercise Divine Law/Love and Divine Hate. We are religiously convicted to develop ourselves to our optimal capacity and eradicate our enemies who continuously seek to enslave and eradicate us. Such religious conviction cannot be intellectually argued away, for it is born of direct experience with Nyamewaa-Nyame, the Abosom and Nananom Nsamanfo - The Mother and Father Supreme Being, the Deities (Spirit Forces in Nature) and the Spiritually Cultivated Ancestresses and Ancestors of our direct blood-circle. The whites and their offspring fear such religious conviction so they sought to enslave billions of our people with pseudo-religion. They fear our return to Nanasom.
