Have you ever had a friend who you knew was in a dangerous, controlling, or emotionally destructive relationship or marriage? There are so many things you want to TELL them they need to do, but we all know in the end we CANNOT MAKE them do anything. They must be the person who finally makes the choice, THEY ARE DONE!!
There are many ways however in which you can help them cope so that they have peace within to make the best decision. The most important of these is simply be a LISTENING EAR WITHOUT JUDGMENT. Victims, no matter what gender or how old, are shameful they have allowed such a mess to grow and interfere with the lives of those around them. I know from personal experience. However, it is when we turn away or judge them that creates the most damage.
Tonight let's find out how we can all be a friend for a victim of Relationship Violence. This show is a community outreach broadcast of Butterfly Dreams Abuse Recovery and in no way constitutes any form of professional psychiatric or therapeutic services. Thank you and we hope you will invite just one friend, maybe even that friend, to join us for another excellent discussion.

8:30 PM: For decades people have been fighting for justice. With recent police shootings and little convictions toward those perceived to be guilty, is Liberty and Justice for all a true statement or is it only for those who were initially included in the constitution or is it JUST-US.

Today on Unspoken Words Robert contunes to discuss "The Dry Place". Millennials have the ability to be one of the most forward moving generations if we are able to successfully transition how we think. The way technology influences our genaration can be asset if we are able to understand what place it should have in our lives. Technology was never meant to supplement relationships & if were not careful then we could get stuck in a dry place. I believe that relationships are the key to success and being able to develop & manage them are going to be the determining factor in our success as a generation.
Listen in as I speak about a young ladies story I heard today. Teen Domestic Violence is happening YES it's happening. This is definitley an issue we need to speak to our children about no matter what age. They need guidance. If they see you getting abused the chances of them going through the same thing is that much greater!
Make sure to tune in, be prepared to ask questions or even make comments!
