Life Coach, Personal Development Specialist, Author and Radio Talk-Show Host Nazim Rashid is the guest speaker today continuing his series on Improving, Repairing and Preparing for Relationships based on his book Reconnected-How To Be A Mentor To Your Child-Self. In the media reports, reality shows and among friends, you hear a great deal about weddings; the feelings; the glow, the friends, the gowns, suits, the wedding venue, the biggest diamond ring, the fun, the excitement, etc. You don’t hear anything about what it takes to have a committed, long lasting, healthy, happy marriage. You don’t hear about the joy attained from a spiritually connected relationship. You don’t hear about how commitment carries over the challenging hurdles and how loving the spirit inside connects you to each other, no matter how the exterior changes over time. You don’t hear about these things because it is not in the fun and exciting category. There are tools provided in the book Reconnected that speak to the areas of longevity, health and real bonding that is needed for a long term relationship to exist. Today Nazim will talk about addictions and character defects that affect marriages. www.cloudsofabundance.com

Our world is changing drastically and people seem to have less pride and dignity. There was once a time when relationships were valued and respected. Unfortunately, today.... relationships are more like a fashion statement. One day with this person, the next day with another. How did we come to a place of no dignity, respect or morals/values? Could it be because of the shows such as "Love and Hip Hop," "The Bachelorette or Bachelor," or all of the reality shows? What are some of the wrong messages being sent by these shows? Are these shows a real view of our world or just entertainment? What can we do to help the young people and some older people understand that lack of respect or dignity will not produce a healthy or strong Godly relationship? This will be a live and raw conversation about relationships. Please be advised if you have young ears listening. Join me and a guest on Thursday, October 16th at 9pm EST as we talk about these issues and how we plan on having a positive change.

Diane and I are moving the show up to 8:30 east coast. This week we will talk about connection, communication and commitment in a relationship. The topics we cover will be based from our book; "You mean there is a law that says he has to be attracted to me?"
Having sex can raise the intensity of emotions that people feel for each other -- whether you’re in a serious or casual relationship. At times, this elevation is a good and enjoyable thing, but sometimes it makes a hard situation worse.
Most women can agree that good sex ain’t easy to come across. There may be a good man shortage considering who you ask, but good sex is still a bedroom myth for most women in a society where men are oblivious to the female libido and the importance of good foreplay. Men continue to independently label themselves as coochie monsters and oral sex gods, yet women find themselves pleasing more than they are getting pleased. How we all want that one man and significant other that can excite us in the bedroom just as much as he satisfies us outside of it. Surely a man can be good in bed, and even better in the relationship, right? That’s the hope that women continue to cling to disappointment after disappointment, and fake orgasm after fake orgasm.
