LeRon Barton: Race, Hip Hop and Love

    in Relationships

LeRon L. Barton is a writer, photographer, and all around artist. He started Mainline Publishing to produce works that will captivate and get people talking. After tons of rejections letters and crazy advice from agent, I decided to take my destiny into my own hands and go indie, and Mainline Publishing was born. The idea behind the company was to showcase works that maybe considered too controversial for other  houses to take on. The first project, Straight Dope: A 36o degree look into American Drug Culture delves into why drugs are so prevalent in America. With this edgy project, Straight Dope sets the precedent for other works to follow.

"Marchless Madness" - COCKTAIL CONVERSATIONS with The Controversial Counselor

    in Relationships

Welcome and Thank you for listening to COCKTAIL CONVERSATIONS on KLJN Radio.

Who handles rejections better?  Men or women? Such as being sexually declined or denying someone an opportunity for a date.

On this episode of COCKTAIL CONVERSATION...We will analyze scenario #4 Marchless Madness

Giovanna met Floyd at the CIAA tournament last year and things became hot and heavy - mainly a lot of steamy getting self-acquainted conversations happened over the past year.

Giovanna planned to visit Floyd and had everything mapped out on how she would take him to this euphoric state and make him her man despite the distance between them.  Secretly, she wanted a change and would entertain relocating from Virginia to North Carolina.

The time has arrived for her to go to North Carolina and she made a trip to Frederick’s to seal the deal. When she arrived, Floyd left a key under his rug mat for Giovanna; she prepared some finger foods and made some grand marnier chocolate covered strawberries so the table was set or it sounds like she was trying to get set on the table.

Well when Floyd arrived and Giovanna was lying across the couch, leaving nothing for his imagination.  He looked at her and said I know you don’t expect anything to go down tonight? Giovanna was so pissed she got dressed and left within thirty minutes and headed back to Virginia at 10:00 p.m., a five-hour ride. How would you handle this situation?

Call the show (347) 237-5342 to listen and if you'd like to join in on the discussion - be sure to press "1" on your phone.

And now here is COCKTAIL CONVERSATIONS on KLJN 107.7 Radio -  with The Controversial Counselor, David Glover.

    Liberation from Past Rejection

    in Spirituality

Today's show is a shamanic healing session on Rejection.  This includes Rejection we have experienced directly from others as well as any hidden Rejection of Self that plays out in our everyday life --- without our even being aware of it.  Rejection and Fear of Rejection hold us back from truly "going for it."  Our deepest passions and aspirations often get put by the way side because of this unconscious fear.

In this session, we will initiate shamanic healing operations to heal any rejections from the past as well as initiate an increased sense of liberation, an increased acceptance of self and an increased acceptance of the divine invitation to fully participate in life.

Join in for this 30 minute soul re-alignment process! A transmission of channeled healing technologies which restructure your creative source grid.

Pure Soul Alchemy is a channeled energetic field where transformative operations and procedures are enacted for you while you comfortably relax. Through Gabriella's perception and vocalization of the inner energetic landscape, we are opened in ways which allow for these processes to come into our physical reality and enact change on our behalf. It’s optimal to lay down for the duration of the session but feel free to play it low and go on about your day.

Power of Perception with writer Rebecca L. Frencl

My love affair with fantasy started when I began perusing my father’s book shelves after being bored by the local library’s selection of children’s books. This was before“young adult” was a recognized genre. I dove into my dad’s collection and fate and David Eddings took over.

Despite several setbacks, and a whole book full of rejections, here I am a teacher and a writer. If you’d asked me what I wanted to do when I was a kid I would have told you that I wanted to teach and write. I’ve been writing and teaching for close to two decades. I love both jobs. I joke and tell my students that writers get paid to make stuff up and who wouldn’t love that job? I also get to see my kids’ eyes light up when they read or write something they love. I have two wonderful jobs.

I’ve been blessed with a very supportive husband who never minds when I rattle off about imaginary people as if they really exist, a little girl who seems to have inherited my imagination, God help us, and friends who are always happy to celebrate a new publication. Here’s hoping we’ll be celebrating many more books in the years to come.

Rebecca L. Frencl is the author of THE SHATTERED PRISM, Amazon.com Young Adult Coming of Age Best Seller and is the Solstice Publishing’s 2014 Author of the Year.

Many lives many journey's.The roads are mark with signs and messages from angels and humans.Animals are there also for unconditional love.HOW CAN WE LISTEN TO THE MESSAGES?BECOMING aware is the answer to the questions to our life. Psychic awareness start with  intuitive guessing of the unknown. As you allow your imagination to lead you to the Why,who, and HOW you remove your ego logical mind to become free to bring psychic gifts to the surface.Guessing has become a lost art because of fears of rejections that you may be wrong. In the world of the psychic first impressions are correct and open channels to the correct answers. Fear is a lack of self awareness that the gift is always present in the now.Once you allow guessing to oocur your self intutive ideas flow from your psychic centers in you right brain.

Be Honest Are You Rejecting Yourself

    in Women

Special Interview with AGWV cohost K Stefani Booker and special interview with Debbie Simmons

Some of the common symptoms of rejection include:

Rebellion in both children and adults
Fabricated personalities (being somebody you aren't, in order to be accepted)
The tendency to reject others, so that you aren't the first one to be rejected
A tendency to always wonder if a person rejects or accepts you
The need to fit in or be accepted by others and be a part of everything
Self-pity where a person feels bad for themselves being all alone
Inability to be corrected or receive constructive criticism
Rejection creates an environment where you are starved for love or just don't fit in
A tendency to blame God ("Why did He give me this big nose? Why did God make me so short?")
A sense of pride that says, "How dare they reject me!"
Opinionated personality and the need to be right about things
Feelings of worthlessness, insecurity, or hopelessness
Seeking a parent's approval is a sign that your basing your identity upon what they think of you
Envy, jealousy, and even hate can be rooted in rejection
Fear of confrontation (because your identity is based upon what they think of you)
