The Mets are off today, flying home from Arizona where they gained a series split with the Diamondbacks.
On Tuesday, they begin a series against the defending world champions, San Francisco Giants.
For tonight's 106th episode of the Rising Apple Report, the Converted Met Fan Sam Maxwell and the Brooklyn Trolley Blogger Michael Lecolant will review the Arizona series that was, and preview the upcoming set against the incoming Giants.
They'll additionally analyze the Mets' standing as they enter their 2nd trimester of the season, as well as take a look back at the 2006 season, and players who've worn #6 in Mets history.
As an extra added feature the boys will take a retrospective look at the 1915 New York Giants baseball club, and the Giants overall time spent in upper Manhattan.
Should be a lot if fun.

Is the way we make use the internet making it harder to target voters on the internet? We discuss;

All that and more is why you can’t afford to miss an episode of Red Maryland Radio tonight at 8 PM on the Red Maryland Network…….and don’t forget that you can subscribe to all Red Maryland Network programming on iTunes and on Stitcher.
Red Journal Radio would like to step away from the fun and talk about something very serious RACISM. We want to hit on some very interesting points ... Racism economically, educationally, judicially, and healthcare. So please join us as we discuss how Racism is a very important issue that for some reason we can't sit down at lease to talk about it....
Red Journal Radio would like to open up and talk about it....
The caleder still says February, the temperature in the northeast is still below freezing, and for many the winter snow has been relentless. However, nothing advertises a changing of the season quite like Spring Training.
Port St. Lucie is finally open for business. All position players were due by Tuesday, and today marked the first day of full squad workouts.
Over the winter, the Mets contracted a strong case of confidence. Tonight's 94th episode of the Rising Apple Report will swing the gates open to Camp Bravado, and debate the merits of their words.
If the Mets indeed seem emboldened to you, perhaps the return of Matt Harvey is one reason why. On March 6th, he will tentatively take the mound and face live competition for the first time since 2013.
Also up for discussion are the potential crowding of the bullpen and a lack of another lefty, Lucas Duda's injury, the never ending quest to rectify shortstop, the 1994 regular season, and much more.
Rising Apple staff writer Rich Sparago will host this evening's discussion, and will be joined by fellow staff writer Michael Lecolant. As always, you are most welcome to call the show and join the conversation.
The number is 646-929-0337. The show starts at 9:00pm (EST) sharp.
