We're all pretty stoked about the Lions getting back-to-back wins. You know what I'm saying? Like, winning is better than losing!
We break down the 1-0 victory over Chicago Fire at Toyota Park, giving you our overall thoughts on the match, discuss what Brek Shea's return has meant to the club, and hand out our selections for Man of the Match.
The defense seems to be starting to gel now that David Mateos has played a few matches in purple and that's great to see. And Bryan Rochez has had a couple of super-sub performances off the bench and that could lead to a start this Friday.
Speaking of Friday, we are joined by Jason Iapicco from Once a Metro to preview this weekend's game at Red Bull Arena. Jason gives us the RBNY perspective and it's unanimous -- we all want Orlando City to finish ahead of New York City FC.
Here's how the magic happened:
0:26- We're thrilled with more points, excited to have Brek Shea back, and intrigued to see what Adrian Heath does with his lineup on Friday.
15:40- Jason jumps aboard to let us know what's changed with the Red Bulls since the last meeting and discusses what it takes to be successful in MLS.
38:02- Prognostication time! Who will start? What's the key to the match? Who will win? We take our best shot at getting it right for a change, and -- surprise! -- we're split on this.
Three wins in a row. Sounds good, doesn't it? The only thing better than winning three in a row would be to win four in a row.
Orlando City will try to do just that on Saturday and if the club pulls through, the playoffs are still not out of the realm of possibility. It will be a tough challenge against a Montreal Impact club that's very much in form since the addition of superstar striker Didier Drogba. We're here to preview that imporant match-up.
But first, we want to dwell on the past. Specifically, we want to dwell on a big 5-2 win at Red Bull Arena last Friday night. Cyle Larin, Carlos Rivas, Luke Boden, Lewis Neal, the woodwork...we rate all of their performances. We pick out our Man of the Match selections, as well.
And there's a little Cristiano Ronaldo talk in the air. It's ridiculous but it's out there, so why not talk about it?
We close with our key match-ups for this weekend and our score predictions. Here's how it happened:
0:26- Our analysis of a fantastic win over the New York Red Bulls, including hat tricks and goal streaks and all three Designated Players playing well.
15:52- Our MotM selections for last Friday's game, and it's not unanimous.
21:02- Cristiano Ronaldo to Orlando City? We think not but dare to dream!
24:51- Previewing Montreal Impact and what Orlando City has to do to get a win.
32:04- Our key match-ups and final score predictions!

The Blackhawks got their 2nd straight win last night, 5-4 over the Arizona Coyotes thanks to an OT game-winner from Jonathan Toews. The captain's stats are down this year, but he's still finding ways to be the best in crunch time. The Bulls beat the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday, playing their first game of the season without Jimmy Butler. And it was one of the best examples of Fred Hoiberg's offense we've seen all season. Is that a coincidence? Plus my preview and prediction for Super Bowl 50! Call in at 347.327.9183! BECAUSE CHICAGO LOVES SPORTS.
The Texans' defense was better than the Saints' offense. Houston continues to roll, and have won their forth in a row. Matt and BFD discuss this game, playoff odds, and preview week 13 against the Buffalo Bills LIVE at 7 p.m. CDT. Topics include: the perfect Texans' game, is Bill O'Brien timid?, this defense becoming facebook official, how Kareem Jackson fits into this defense, and more.

The Blackhawks got back to their winning ways with a 2-0 triumph over the St. Louis Blues last night. Per usual, Kane, Panarin & Crawford had a lot to do with it. The Bulls surprised many with their win over the Cavaliers on Saturday. Should fans be impressed with the win, or skeptical of the team's continued inconsistencies? Plus my review of the NFC and AFC Championship games! Call in @ 347.327.9183! BECAUSE CHICAGO LOVES SPORTS.
On today's isportsMSU Red Cedar Report, isportsweb contributors Ryan McCumber and Tyler Hayward take a look back at what cost Michigan State in their overtime thriller against Purdue. They also talk about the latest news to break regarding point guard Lourawls "Tum Tum" Nairn. Can Denzel Valentine continue to do it all? Plus, did last night somehow put to rest the rumors that Josh Jackson comes to Michigan State?

We're back and you can't send us off because we won't go!
Michael Citro and Kevin Mercer break down the tough Saturday night home loss to New York Red Bulls and have a lot to say about the red card that saw Cyle Larin off after 32 minutes and the behavior of the veteran player who drew the call. The consensus is that we're just really tired of red cards.
We also broke down a rather enjoyable friendly last Wednesday vs. West Bromwich Albion. It was a pleasant surprise to see the Lions go for it in a game that came at a tough time in the schedule and meant absolutely nothing.
We give you our Man of the Match for both games, plus we talk about all the other big happenings this week, including the All-Star captaincy for Kaká, the MLS Homegrown Game, the trade that sent Amobi Okugo to Sporting Kansas City and brought back Servando Carrasco, the Corey Ashe trade, the possibility of landing a midfielder from Sao Paulo and more!
Plus, we make our ridiculously wrong predictions for the Chicago Fire match on Wednesday and the rematch with New York City FC on Sunday afternoon.
Here's how it went:
0:26- Red cards! Fourth officials! Simulation! Missed opportunities! Let's make some sense of that Red Bulls game.
15:50- On a happier note, the Lions looked rather good against EPL side West Brom. You probably didn't get to see the non-televised and non-streamed affair, so we're here to tell you about it.
27:05- Kaká is the MLS All-Star captain, Tyler Turner is a Homegrown All-Star and whether that's a good thing.
32:18- Big trade this week! Here are the details and maybe a hint of analysis. We think this is only the first domino.
40:15- Paulo Henrique Ganso, the Corey Ashe trade,, are the refs out to get us, and our sure-to-be-wrong predictions.
