Photographer Roberto Rabanne ,Music , Fashion and so much more!

    in Pop Culture

The images of photographer Roberto Rabanne have captured the energy, complexity and beauty in music, fashion and art for more than four decades. I have a simple philosophy about photography, it’s that the image has to be powerful” explains Rabanne. “And I find this happens when you capture the subject engaging in the non-defensive, unguarded essence that is truly ‘them. One day at a sound check he decided he had nothing to lose and asked Jimi Hendrix if he could take his picture with his Yashica twin lens reflex.  “Sure, man,” the flamboyant guitarist said, and Rabanne began snapping away.  “I shot half a roll of film, rushed back to my little darkroom and processed it, and ran back to the Fillmore with the proof sheets,” explains Rabanne.  “Hendrix said, ‘Wow, man, I like these,’ and stuck a $100 bill in my hand.  He was my first ‘client’ and that was the beginning of my career as a professional photographer.Rabanne’s photos were first published in magazines like Rolling Stone, Crawdaddy, Cream and the East Village Other. They ran the gamut of the great bands – from the Grateful Dead and Quicksilver to Big Brother and the Holding Company, Cream, Dylan, Jefferson Airplane, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and more. Early on, Rabanne befriended Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead. The legendary musician gave him priority access and allowed the photographer to do several studies of him and the band.Later, Rabanne’s interests expanded to include jazz and reggae. Shooting for Down Beat, Jazz Express, Goldmine, NME and numerous recording companies, his work now included the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, Charles Mingus, Carmen McRae, Betty Carter, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Bob Marley and scores of others as he became the official photographer of the Monterey Jazz Festival.

Johnny Manziel needs to find an "offensive line" in life to protect him

    in Sports

Johnny Manziel was the first Freshman to win the Heisman Trophy and he was unstoppable in college. Some people questioned if he could take his athletic style to the NFL game. The Cleveland Browns believed he could and selected him with the 22nd pick, in the 2014 NFL Draft. Johnny Manziel lived up to the hype, off the field. Manziel headlined local and national media for his off the field antics more than his play on the field. After two seasons he only started eight games, which is the fewest of any quarterback the Browns have selected in the first round. As the offseason begins, it is only a matter of time before the Browns and Manziel part ways. The question looms, "Will any team take a chance on Manziel?"

The answer is probably not because Manziel is being investigated for domestic violence. He also entered rehab before the 2015 season to get his drinking under control. All reports pointed to a new and rejuvinated Manziel until he was pulled over during the season and admitted that he had been drinking. No charges were filed, but he openly admitted that he was drinking. Manziel has always lived life to the extreme, but it might be time that he finds a good offensive line in life to help protect him from himself.

VOILÀ CHOCOLAT ,WHERE HAPPINESS LIVES ! Come Create play

    in Pop Culture

In 2012, the future founder of Voilà Chocolat, Peter, was hosting his daughter's make-your-own arts & crafts themed birthday party. He noticed how everyone at the party  both kids and adults alike became joyfully immersed in their creativity, similar to how he felt whenever he made chocolates as a trained chocolatier. After extensive research and planning, Peter began to assemble a "dream team" to help him bring Voilà Chocolat to life. He recruited a diverse team, from a nationally-recognized Master Chocolatier and pastry chef to a senior chocolate scientist, to create a unique place where everyone, not only trained chocolatiers, could experience the fun and magic of crafting beautiful, delicious chocolates with friends, family and colleagues. As an artistic material, chocolate is endlessly fascinating, complex, and creative to work and play with. The Voilà Chocolat team now want everyone to come and discover for themselves the surprisingly rewarding and entertaining experience of making chocolates.Voilà Chocolat’s “dream team” consists of a diverse set of professionals who bring unique skills and passion. We are led by our Founder and Chief Cacao Nut, Peter Moustakerski, and our Master Chocolatier, Christophe Toury.Peter is a visionary entrepreneur with a lifelong passion for chocolate. If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll know that the Liberals’ refugee rush plan has not gone smoothly. By imposing arbitrary deadlines and quotas in their foolhardy plan, they’ve run into logistical problems and compromised our security but instead of slowing down, they continue full steam ahead.
