SORT BY Relevancy
Welcome to another week, another Monday, another episode of Your Life by Design. It's MANDATE Monday! It's the day that we set the standard and are reminded that we have the authority, permission, and expectation to carry out God's plan in our lives and do it victoriously. How? I'm glad you asked that.
On today's broadcast we will continue our look at Hebrews 12:1 and begin discussing the weight of sin. Did you know that sin is a weight. So today we will delve into The Sin Business. We will also introduce a new segment called Grace Notes.

It's Truth or Consequences Tuesday. "And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free." (John 8:32)

It's Thoughtful Thursday!!! "Give thanks unto the LORD for He is good. His mercy endures forever."
Continuing our theme from yesterday The Good, the Bad, and the Ashy we pick up our discussion on the sin of slothfulnees (Proverbs 19: 15, 24; Romans 12:11) and move on to replacing it with diligence We are going to uncover somethings that we try hide or cover up with lotion, Vaseline, Mary Kay, MAC, weave, wigs, a swag and a great smile. God wants to expose the weight of sin so that we can be free from its entanglements and penalties. If we say we have no sin we're not being honest with ourselves or God. (1 John 1:8)
Join us as we continue to delve into the Word of God as we answer the questions:
Is it really that bad? Yes.
How can I become free?

Over the past few days we have taken a look at the definition of weight and began looking beyond the physical weight we carry. There are invisible weights of stress, anxiety, fear, doubt that become a mental mass that becomes burdensome, and debilitating. These weights sap our energy and focus causing us to become sluggish and ineffective when pursuing goals, dreams, or just living life. On today's broadcast we will continue the conversation as we answer the question, "What's weighing you down?" Our biblical example is Barak (Judges 4).

Hate Exercise Less: Lose Weight, Gain Energy with Greg Mumm, Fitness Trainer
Greg Mumm is an obsessive learner and, like a curious detective searching for clues, he has spent a lifetime collecting knowledge and information. Greg is also ambitious, and in 2004 decided he would dedicate his life to helping as many people as he could.
Bothered by people doing endless situps, time-wasting stretches and other unproductive--and mind-numbing--exercises; motivated by people who discipline themselves to exercise, but are miserable; puzzled by individuals who don't exercise, but want the benefits; mesmerized by those who unexpectedly came to enjoy exercise...his first task would be to help people hate exercise less.
As a certified fitness trainer with a computer science degree (now there's a combination), he has the background and brains to utilize his vast knowledge and experience. In fact, his first book showed that there was a "hard" side to working out (for example: which exercises to do and the minimum time to do them) and a "soft" side to working out (for example: conquering boredom, motivation, and people).
