The spawn of "Reality" TV has become the heart of television lineup. These programsrange from talk shows to intimate looks into the private lives of celebrities are introduced under the guise of being "informative", but exactly what is the lesson? The reality series tracking the happenings of celebrities show more fighting, infidelity, cat-fights, and sexual liaisons than they show solutions or positivity, and the talk shows seem rating-motivated with discussions about scandals. If the negative impact on a universal scale isn't bad enough, a majority of the shows showcase Blacks as the characters in these scandalous programs. Does reality TV impact the Black diaspora?
