Real World News - What is "American History"?

    in History

Many people (Non-Ethnic) often complain or make comments about "Why Italian American?; Why "Afro American"?.  Aren’t we all "Americans"?  If we are AMERICAN CITIZENS, then why is there a need to teach "African American History" when that is a part of all of our history?

Well, the Real World News team will be addressing the issues of separating the history of America based on color and heritage.

Join them for this very spirited conversation on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at 5pm PST/8pm EST.

    The Real Side

    in Politics

Click here to chat with us during the LIVE show broadcast!

Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?

There are always at least two sides to every story. Have you ever wondered how someone, who saw the same thing you did, walked away telling a vastly different story? Which version was correct? Which one was the REAL story? Actually, both are! It’s just a matter of perspective.

Joe takes the issues… especially the controversial issues (politics, prejudice, religion, illegal immigration)… and brings in people from different sides to share their viewpoint. This is definitely not a fluff piece. And while no one is attacked, the questions are hard-hitting.

But the conversation is always respectful and you’re sure to learn something new, even if you don’t agree!

If you’ve always wondered how the “other side” thinks and how they’ve arrived at their “stand”, then this is the show for you!

It’s not the right side, it’s not the wrong side, but the REAL side of the issues!

  • Did You Know Facts? On the Real Tip with Dluv

    in Fun

    Hey Podcast Land,

Did you know that there are still a lot of things that you don't know?  Okay, just joking ;) !

But , I wanna keep it real, there are a lot of known facts that I didn't know about!  I didn't know that the first match to ignite a flame was created by accident!  In the 19th century, John Walker a Pharmacist/Chemist, revolutionized the match by creating a "friction based" chemical that gave off a spark and ignited a fire that spreaded like wildfire!  WOW, just think about life without fire?!  However, the concept of the modern match was founded in the 1700's by alchemist Hennig Brandt.

How about that car you drive or that camera you take pictures with - can you imagine or wonder how or what your life would be like without these inventions?  Well, I be thanking the LORD and doing the happy dance, cause don't know what we would do without tiolet paper!..Hee,Hee..guys just trying to make a point here...

Okay, ya'll get my drift.  Tune in to hear some fun and interesting known facts, that you may not have known.

Take care and talk to you on the air!

    Dluv
