What is going on with the reports of domestic violence, assualts, abuse, and battery coming from NFL players as of late? From Ray Rice's suspension from the well known elevator incident involving his now wife to the recent indictment of Adrian Peterson for child battery stemming from whipping his 4 year old son. Also it has been reported that domestic violence is nothing new in the league; an age old problem that is now making headlines. Has Roger Goodell, the commissioner of the NFL handled these issues properly? Did the Vikings do the correct thing by deactivating Peterson? Should Ray Rice have lost his job over something he apparently alreadt admitted to? Let us sit down at the round table and talk about the ugliness of violence that is a serious issue in today's society

There isn't much to say outside of, WHAT IS GOING ON? We are aware that driving while black is REAL and it does exist, however over the last few months it appears that this (already problem) has gotten out of CONTROL.
We are going to discuss the recent case where a policeman pulled over a Black man in South Carolina, told him to get his license and shot him in the leg - incredible! We will also discuss the Ferguson case and how that unfortunate situation impacted our society as well.
Join us as we discuss these cases/others and strategies that can (hopefully) prevent other Black men from being taken to jail, accused of doing something that did not exist or even getting KILLED.

Topic: LADIES!! - Is Being a "Strong Independent Woman" OVERRATED?
Is being an independent woman overrated…?
Let’s start by defining an “Independent Woman”
A woman who pays her own bills, buys her own things, and doesn't feel she needs a man's approval. Meanwhile, she complains that she can't find a man because there aren't enough good men out there. She also has a 1,000 point criteria list for what she wants in a man and feels like she deserves this kind of man because she can financially support herself. All the while she forgets that she can't be independent and interdependent (in a relationship) at the same time. Instead of realizing that she would need to change her mindset to find a man who fits even a fraction of that 1,000 point criteria, she blames society, her race, statistics, and virtually anything but herself for her situation.- Urban dictionary

Modesty is controversail topic, especially when you throw God into the mix. For some, they simply cannot fathom all the great injustices in the world that God actually cares if a woman wears skin-tight pants with the word "Juicy" writtern on them. In a recent conversation,a woman I spoke with seemed deeply offended when I suggest a woman's manner of dressing could tempt a man to lust. She wasn't denying the claim that men lust after women, but she was emphatic that women are not to blame for a man's lustful thoughts and actions. Is she right person is never guilty of another person's sin.Is that true?Matthew 18:6 "If anyone cause one of these little ones-those who believe in me- to stumble, it would better for them if a large miillstone were hung around their neck and they were drowned in dephts of the sea." NIV. Real Talk is a radio show that deal with real issues in life that other people don't want to deal with.Real Talk will dicuss what really matter to the community and churches,But most of all a voices that speak for truth and the homeless, those with addictions, poverty& crime.
