Rape culture is a phrase used to describe a culture in which rape is pervasive and normalized due to societal attitudes about gender, sex, and sexuality.Examples of behaviors commonly associated with rape culture include victim blaming, sexual objectification, trivializing rape, denial of widespread rape, or refusing to acknowledge the harm of certain forms of sexual violence that do not conform to certain stereotypes of stranger or violent rape.
Most of us have heard about the 16 year old girl named Jada that spoke out about her rape. She was drugged and sexually assaulted at a house party. She didn't know it happened until pictures and video surfaced on social media. There was one person that admitted his involvement to the alleged rape from his social media post. We decided with this information that he had to be exposed but that was met with anger and even threats. The people was laughing at this young girl but got upset when one of the people involved got his twitter and facebook shutdown. Houston Police claim they have strong leads but they are dragging their feet to arrest the suspects.
So Rape Culture Strikes again.

Tonight on Liberal Dan Radio I welcome Jill Filipovic to discuss rape culture as it concerns the story I discussed last week about the guy who refuses to stop drinking even if it means he will rape others. We will also discuss other issues pertaining to rape culture, womens rights, feminism and equality.
Then, after talking to Bryan from Cool Mini Or Not, I will breifly go into the crazy notions that Conservatives have about gun control after the Newtown shootings.
Tonight on Liberal Dan Radio: Talk from the left, that's right.
We all know the score. Rape. That most evil of all crimes, a fate worse then death, the most appalling thing one person can inflict on another. Well, let’s be honest here. The most appalling thing a man can do to a woman, since other forms of rape either don’t exist or don’t matter. But have we ever stopped to wonder what our beliefs about ‘rape’ say about us as a society? What if our conventional understanding of rape is a magic trick, a slight of hand designed to hide a deeper and more widespread rape, a rape of our very identities? Join us JTO, typhonblue and Girl Writes What as we talk about rape… culture.
On tonight's episode of Liberal Dan Radio:
CPAC met last week. I will go over some of the audio that will either make you laugh or cry.
I will go over the tweet of the week which references many of the horrific rape apologia that went on after the Steubenville rape verdicts were announced. And if you thought victim blaming only went on in that town, you are wrong...
Finally, an update on the tolls. Your's truly was booed at a town hall meeting the other day for daring to suggest that all the votes should count. I had an interesting discussion with Pat Hand, attorney for stop the tolls, that might have you questioning how he ever was able to graduate law school. Some other news and notes about the tolls will also be discussed.
All that, headlines, and more. Tonight on Liberal Dan Radio: Talk from the left, that's right.

Tonight's TEAMDAR Radio goes for a very controversial show tonight, as we talk some of the most hard hitting topics possible. Join us for what may be an uncomfortable discussion.
In this one we'll go over the verses I kicked on Amaculan's Bad Lad album.
The first one being from a track called the baddest, where Amaculan and I continued our cypher from my track called "Silver Chucks" on the previous album we covered. It's fairly hardcore... actually pretty darn hard core and that's why I just cut the hook/chorus out of this podcast.
The second one is from "Self Assassanition". This is a not-so-sad suicide song. The idea was to talk about auto-euthanasia without having this "Woe Is Me" vibe about it.
The third and final track from this whole era of my involvment with establishing our name locally and letting folks on our hip hop scene know that our crew was here and serious is called "NO GAMES".... This was probably the most irresponsible desctructive thing I've ever done behind a microphone.
I did not write this track. I just freestyled (improved) the whole thing, from the verse, to the hook, to the adlibs, to even the background falsetto singing and humming.
It's what and who I talk about and the context with which I talk about these folks that made this track a horrible decision to put on an album and put out in the streets.
From here we'll start hearing my tracks I did between the ages of 19 and 21. Most of which didn't go on albums, but on mixtapes, compilations, and sold as singles.
For the rest of this show, I'll do some reading and commenting on another part of rape culture that I didn't know exists and it makes me rethink my position on this thing called cyber bullying.
Tonight's show......... A female reporter in Washington D.C. tries to get her Concealed Carry permit now that's it is LAW she is able to.... yet she CAN'T. Anti-gunner Extremists prove once again they want women to be VICTIMS rather than Survivors.

Tonight at 8pm ET on Ernest Radio Network, it's The Ernest Experience Radio Show.
We continue the national discussion on rapist Bill Cosby. More and more victims, including former supermodel Janice Dickinson, come forward with the same story. Some stories date as far back as 1969. Yet some folks are still defending Cosby. Is it just that they are waiting for the facts, giving the benefit of the doubt, or are they simply blinded by celebrity? We're talkin' about it!
