WHAT LESSON IS THERE IN THIS FOR ME?

    in Spirituality

JOIN MARA AND BOB TO TALK ABOUT TECHNIQUES TO KEEP YOUR PEACE OR RECLAIM IT IN THE MIDST OF CHAOS.

THERE ARE TIMES IN ALL OF OUR LIVES WHEN OTHERS SPEAK NEGATIVELY ABOUT US, YET, WE HAVE THE POWER TO DECIDE HOW WE WILL MANAGE THE SITUATION.

THE FIRST STEP IS TO REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE.  IF SOMEONE CALLS YOU A TREE---THAT DOES NOT MAKE YOU A TREE.  IF SOMEONE CALLS YOU A TRAIN---THAT DOES NOT MAKE YOU A TRAIN.  YOU ARE WHO YOU ARE AND ANOTHER'S ACCUSATIONS CANNOT CHANGE WHO YOU ARE UNLESS YOU GIVE THAT PERSON THE POWER TO DO IT.

LIFE HAS A BRIGHT SIDE AND DARK SIDE, FOR THE WORLD OF RELATIVITY IS COMPOSED OF LIGHT AND SHADOWS.  IF YOU PERMIT YOUR THOUGHTS TO DWELL ON EVIL, YOU YOURSELF WILL BECOME UGLY.  LOOK ONLY FOR GOOD IN EVERYTHING, THAT YOU ABSORB THE QUALITY OF BEAUTY.---PARAMAHANSA YOGANANDA

ALLOW ANOTHER TO BE IN HIS/HER THINKNG WITHOUT JOINING HER/HIM.  STAY TRUE TO WHO YOU ARE---TO YOU.

GO INISIDE AND MEDITATE IN YOUR WAY TO REMIND YOURSELF OF YOUR VALUE, YOUR PURPOSE, YOUR CONSTANT CONNECTION WITH LOVE /GOD/ THE GREAT SPIRIT/ ALLAH/ YAHWEH/ THE GREAT I AM/ ALL THAT IS

Above all, be true to yourself, and if you cannot put your heart in it, take yourself out of it. - Unknown

The hardest challenge is to be yourself in a world where everyone is trying to make you be somebody else.?~E. E. Cummings

To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”?- Ralph Waldo Emerson

LET US EACH RECOGNIZE OUR VALUE.

JOIN US IN REMEMBERING  HOW LOVE HAS AFFECTED YOU THIS WEEK AND PASS IT ON.

Where Are You Going?, a career development program for professional actors, using psychological profiling techniques to illicit the actors “Acting-Niche”, the “Charismatic It-factor”. John currently seminars and teaches his approach in Los Angeles and New York City.
John began his career as an actor working in television and film while doing tons of no-pay black box theatre. It was there that he developed his skills as a playwright and director. He first directed Ralph Pape’s Soap Opera some twenty-five years ago and in the spring of 2013 he directed a daring production of Neil LaBute’s Romance. His own plays include: Killer Midgets, Augie’s Ring, An Act of Kindness and Baptism by Fire, have each been produced. The latter, Baptism by Fire was produced and directed by Emmy Award Winner Michael Imperioli.
John also penned the screenplay When Tough Guys Were King (co-authored by Dominik Tiefenthaler) and is presently shopping it around.
Other Notable Teachings: Master Class for the Working Actor, a NYC based Tuesday evening acting class dedicated to the development of the actors “Acting-Niche”. This class focuses on advanced character development on niche using John’s “Actable-Phrase” technique. His other classes include: Script Secrets of the A-List Actor and The Lawlessness of Sides: Level I & Level II, both taught in LA and NYC.
On the Personal: John grew up guided and quizzed by his grandfather who was a big film buff. He credits his love of acting, art, and language to his always entertaining “Popa”. So grateful.

    BITS: RALPH PETERS

    in Entertainment

What is BITS? We start with the varied definitions of bit. A bit can be a small portion, degree, or amount such as a bit of lint; a bit of luck. On the other hand a bit can be a brief amount of time, a moment as in Wait a bit. Or how about a short scene or episode in a theatrical performance? Or a bit part? Keeping with our theatrical theme, a bit can be an entertainment routine given regularly by a performer; an act. Let’s take our definition of bit further. A bit can be the sharp part of a tool, such as the cutting edge of a knife or ax or a particular kind of action, situation, or behavior as in I got tired of the macho bit. How about a matter being considered as in What's this bit about inflation? The Brits consider a bit a small coin: a three penny bit. BITS for our purposes are an amalgamation of all and is about our bit to contribute and share by bringing you a bit of knowledge as information and entertainment, and as a matter to be considered. So have a listen to our brief, daily dose of BITS where a little knowledge goes a long way brought to you by the artist of communication Halli Casser-Jayne, host of The Halli Casser-Jayne Show,  For more information visit Halli Casser-Jayne dot com.
