Evening with Ella Curry and Keleigh Crigler Hadley

    in Books

What You Won't Do for Love by Keleigh Crigler Hadley
    Unconditional Love.  Unthinkable Choice.

Eden Price, an unlucky-in-love nurse finds herself in the midst of a heated love triangle. Globe-trotting missionary, Gabe Clark ignites her soul. Who doesn't want a man with a connection to God?  Hard-working, Nemo Gates speaks to her heart. His past has caused a rift between him and God and Eden wants to help him heal.
She ultimately chooses the man that makes her passions come alive, but did she make the right choice? Her husband stuns her with a desperate plea; to prove her love for him in the most unthinkable way - to help him die with dignity.

Book Review:  What You Won't Do for Love
Get the tissues out!   What You Won't Do for Love is a emotional roller-coaster ride.

The story centers around, Eden Price and the two men in her life, Gabe Clark and Nehemiah Gates. The author, Keleigh Hadley creates an intriguing love triangle and I found myself cheering for one guy, then cheering for the next guy - I was torn! I connected deeply with the main character, Eden Price because she was quirky, compassionate and realistic. Ultimately the love triangle is broken and Eden chooses one of the men, but he asks her to do the unthinkable. I have to be honest, I thought one way about the subject the author tackles in this book, but after reading this and connecting with her struggle, I feel differently. I won't say how because that would spoil the plot twist. In the end, I greatly appreciated the spiritual insight and encouragement I felt after reading and look forward to reading many more books from Keleigh Hadley.  - Gina Johnsond, Reading DIVAZ.   Books:  http://www.amazon.com/What-You-Wont-Do-Love-ebook/dp/B013CIK60K

Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) - 1088

    in Self Help

Tonight's special guest is Emily Wallace (aka Tina Smith) abuse survivor and motivational speaker, inspirational author and expert seeking high representation for her unforgettable autobiography "Scarred for Life," an inspirational book which illustrates all of the struggles that Emily faced during her childhood. One day in 1980, Emily returned home from her every day learning environment, to find a house filled with nothing but emptiness. Her whole nuclear family (her mother and her siblings) were gone without a forwarding address. This was the same day that Emily endured emotional distrust and experienced her childhood being snatched away from her within moments. Scarred for Life narrates Emily's story, along with her thoughts, feelings, and emotions as she tried to succeed surviving on the streets. She tells of sleeping in vacant houses and under porches and experiencing child molestation by her older two brothers. She shares the stories of those who tried to help her and those who would not. Honest and shocking, Scarred for Life provides insight into the actual life of a little homeless girl and the horrors one can experience when living on the streets. Today, Emily is a mother of six, and wife of 20 years. She is an author and motivational speaker, who speaks to children about child abuse and bullying. She is currently working on her high school diploma at Hadley School for the Blind.
