Rachel and Tony discuss how 70-90% of processed foods are now made with Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) sources. The viruses and bacteria that go into these GMO seeds and the foods they create are supposedly intended to only affect the pests and weeds that lower crop yields. There is credible independent research that indicates that these GMO foods are greatly contributing to the dramatic rise in cancer and many other illnesses that plague Americans. The long term effects of these GMO processes are woefully under studied in America in contrast to over 60 other developed countries that either mandate labeling or have an outright ban on GMO products. GMO products are likely creating a health care crisis of epic proportions and powerful forces are deliberately thwarting government oversight of the rapidly growing GMO trend that so many other countries are regulating.

Negativity unfortunately resides in our day to day interactions or worst in our thoughts. 99.9% of the time, we think negative before we think positively for whatever the reasons may be. And even worst when friends, families, inject negativity into our lives. It is like we are already struggling to get rid of our own negativity and now we have to deal with the negatibity of others. It is important to value your relationships therefore we have to communicate what needs to be ruled out of our lives that aren't beneficial to us in the long run.

Tanna Frederick recently wrapped production on Henry Jaglom’s romantic mystery “Ovation” starring opposite James Denton. The story is set in the backstage world of theatre where the cast struggles to keep their play afloat while they search for a murder suspect amongst themselves.
She has two films coming out next year -- Jaglom’s romantic comedy “The M Word” (with Corey Feldman, Michael Imperioli and Frances Fisher) will be released in January/February, and “Garner, Iowa” where she stars as a single mother who returns to Iowa (Frederick’s hometown) to deal with her past, will be released in the spring.
She’s also hitting the boards in “The Rainmaker” at the Edgemar Theatre in Santa Monica. The Los Angeles Times gave it Critics’ Choice and said, “The standout of this terrific cast is Tanna Frederick’s acerbically yearning Lizzie…It’s a transformation not to be missed.”
Frederick's performance in her first feature with Jaglom, “Hollywood Dreams,” earned her Best Actress at WorldFest Houston, Montana International Film Festival, Fargo Film Festival and the Wild Rose Film Festival. The film took Best Picture honors at the San Luis Obispo Film Festival and to Best Comedy at WorldFest Houston. She was named Method Fest’s “Performer to Watch” and has also received the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival’s “Maverick” Award.

About COFFEE SHOP:
Love is brewing in this family appropriate romantic comedy from legendary show producer Dave Alan Johnson ("Doc", "Sue Thomas: F. B. Eye"). COFFEE SHOP features a strong, confident smart female lead (played by Laura Vandervoort) navigating the crazy world of romance while trying to save her beloved coffee shop with the support of her friends.
-Starring Rachel Hendrix, Jason Burkey, Laura Vandervoort, Jon Lovitz, & Kevin Sorbo
Hear Dave discuss:
-As a longtime TV producer, are you seeing a trend towards family-friendly or even faith-based programming in television as we have seen on the silver screen this year?
-Why did you believe it was important to showcase a strong, smart, attractive woman as opposed to the typical way you say Hollywood characterizes women?
-Why is family friendly entertainment your passion? What else do you have brewing?
