Over the Top Radio - Race Across America Preview with Mark Pattinson

    in Fitness

Mark Pattinson has multiple top five finishes in the 3,000 mile, coast to coast,  non-stop bicycle Race Across America (RAAM).  A crowd favorite, the understated Pattinson works a full time job, raises a family and fits in a busy training schedule.  He is also a master tactician who knows his strengths and weaknesses.  Mark is one of the most discilplined racers in the field who is able to let the rabbits go at the start and pick his way throught the field as the races crosses the continent.  We look forward to discussing the 2014 edition with Mark this evening.

FHS’ Race Trim MotorSports Hour #50

    in Sports

If last week was “The Smoke Show”, this is “The JGR Hour”. We’ve talked all season about the dominance of Joe Gibbs Racing and it continues today coming out of Richmond.

Carl Edwards did the unthinkable last week bumping his own teammate Kyle Busch in the last final half lap to win his second-in-a-row. Is that “just racing”, or is there an “unwritten rule” someplace? How much does this create a teammate rift, and are we seeing a new more aggressive Carl Edwards this season?

Tony Stewart returned last week exactly as Sidekick predicted – good enough for us to all complain that he sucks. BUT, his “lug nuts rant” got NASCAR attention as they addressed the rules. Is anyone really surprised by that?

But man oh man, to be a fly-on-the-wall at Friday night’s Driver’s Council meeting where Brian France showed up unexpectedly and apparently, left it lively.

Today we’re at Talladega – one of Frat House Mike’s favorites, a superspeedway – and we’ll be giving our thoughts on outcomes and “Big Ones” here; plus an NHRA update at #6 in Houston Texas; Sidekick’s got some Fantasy NASCAR recommendations; and, it’s getting VERY competitive on the Frat House Sports’ Eat-My-Dust Winners Pick leaderboard particularly after last week.

Tune-in to THE BEST pre-race sports talk show with Frat House Mike, Sidekick, Brandon, and YOUR calls at 347 – 826 – 9964. Check in to the Frat House Sports Garage - 11 a.m. ET!

The Helios Biblios Hour (book of the SUN) : May Day The Destiny of America pt2

    in Current Events

Over one hundred years have passed since that first May Day. In the earlier part of the 20th century, the US government tried to curb the celebration and further wipe it from the public's memory by establishing "Law and Order Day" on May 1. We can draw many parallels between the events of 1886 and today. We still have locked out steelworkers struggling for justice. We still have voices of freedom behind bars as in the cases of Mumia Abu Jamal and Leonard Peltier. What is the origin of mayday as a distress signal The term Mayday is used internationally as a distress signal in voice procedure radio communications. It derives from the French venez m'aider, meaning “come help me”. It is used to signal a life-threatening emergency by many groups, such as police forces, pilots, firefighters, and transportation organizations.Draco’s story and his infamous Draconian Laws, offers us much food for thought and teaches us numerous political lessons. Draco, though commissioned by the majority of his co-citizens, and not the “gods” like his predecessors, failed to deliver a people-friendly legal system. Instead, he became notorious for delivering one of the most inhumane and harshest legal codes the world has ever known. Nevertheless, from the ashes of that failure a revolutionary system slowly emerged which would soon set the foundation for a significant portion of modern law and politics in the Western world.

Recycle America Radio w Eric and Jim

    in Current Events

SPECIAL GUEST:  James O Keefe Of Project Veritas will be discussing Common Core and it's failure during the 8am hour!!

We bring you raw news with cutting edge dialogue between two Conservative American Citizens. We believe in American Exceptionalism, dreams, freedom and liberty. We believe corruption, deceit and lawlessness are destroying the foundation of the nation, deminishing our role in the world as a Super Power, and promoter of Freedom and Liberty. We need to strip away the corruption, deceit and lawlessness within America, just as a recycler strips away the old paint, rust from a piece of steel or a piece of furniture exposing the good metal / good wood, we must do the same, expose Americas exceptionalism. The founding fathers were not perfect men, they were exceptional men, promoting a selfless ideology, forming the foundation for Americas rise as a world Super Power. We desire the destruction of political correctness, lawlessness, and corruption within the 10 square miles of Evil, Washington D.C.

We want politicians to push back on illegal immigration, gay marriage, racial warfare, social warfare and economic class warfare.

We desire Freedom and Liberty to be espused from all political dialogue, citizens dreaming of legacies and independence from government over-reach / oversight. Thank you for spending a few hours a week with us.
