Youth Teach Powerful Lessons Through PUSH Excel Oratory Contest

    in Women

Winners of the recent PUSH Excel & Illinois Judicial Council Oratorical Contest "Reclaiming Our Youth 2013" reflect on the words of their speeches, the impact of the contest in inspiring them toward further social activism, and the current state of education in preparing U.S. students for helpful contribution to world affairs. Eight grader Parsia Hedayat and Ninth grader Janeicia Williams both recited portions of Rev Jesse Jackson's 1994 Democratic Convention Speech. The students discuss the impact of imprinting this historic speech on their minds and hearts, and reflect on their responsibilities as members of the younger generation to move their peers toward world peace.

Black History who is a Hero / Shero

    in Politics Progressive

Who do you admire in the history African Women and Man of Earth?

I dont know much about Black History so for me this information instills pride in a people.

Descendants of former African enslaved people needs to know that history to restore that pride. With pride come respect and honor. When you don’t know who you are and where you come will leave you open to except distorted facts about who you are. It is important you know where you can from so you know where you are going.

Seeking more knowledge reduces the amount of self-hatred within the people the share my features. Stacey Dash recently let black folks know she is with white folks in destroying who she is mainly coz they are paying her.

For the month of February, in order to bring back True Black Power / True Africa Pride for the Month of February my show will be devoted to Nationhood and our Elders that pushed this message from Marcus Gravy.  We must refine the message for today and still push for Nationhood today!

As a black man, It'd be quite foolish of me to sit around and wait for someone else to do this.

I don't know a lot of guys in the city I live in, but online, I have some homeboys who aren't afraid to challenge systemic oppression and talk loudly and publicliy about Misogynoir.

We need to talk about intraracial rape culture.
    Body policing.
    Hair policing.
    Street harassment.
    and much much more.

This can not and will not be the only event and discusison panel.
This can not and will not be the only event.

    We'll 2 live chatrooms.
One will be flash based at the audio link and one will be in a facebook comment section when the live link is posted this coming Saturday.

REAL WOMEN-REAL TALK on "ME, GOD AND A CUP OF COFFEE"

    in Women

Dial in and share what's on your mind. If it's on your mind we want to talk about it. With so much going on in the world, certainly you have a thought or something to say about it. Listen to the host share what's on her mind or push 1 and tell her what's on yours.  LET'S TALK ABOUT IT!

On Me, God and A Cup of Coffee, We believe that every morning should begin with a conversation with God. Since Coffee is universal and often used by many a s a reason to get together, an opportunity to share good or bad news, and whether a coffee drinker or not usually a reason to relax and have conversation with a friend, we use Coffee as a Metaphor for a universal visitation.

Every week we address and discuss “Feelings Women Rarely Share”.  We believe that the forum should be without prejudice. Topics selected are for women by women and are directly related to the Real Women with Real Weight series, and I.M.P.A.C.T. Ministries’ mission. “Irreversible Motivation Persuaded and Causing Triumph”, and “I am you, You are me, and Together We Are”. Althou I have to tell you, men often join us and love our show too.   REAL TALK, REAL ISSUES, REAL LIFE!

SO GRAB YOUR MUG AND FILL IT UP. COME HAVE A CUP OF COFFEE ON ME!

False Prophets Among Us Pt3 "Apostle Johns AntiChrists" Sound the Shofar

    in Christianity

False Prophets Among Us Pt2 "Antichrists" | www.warn-usa.com

False prophets, false teachers, false Christs; the opponents of Jesus Christ and the great one of deception comes. These are the Antichrists!

In the world today there are many opponents of Jesus Christ. John warns us that there are 'AntiChrists' [plural], more than one. Any one who opposes Jesus Christ is an "anti" Christ! Or one that opposes, is 'anti' to the Christ or Messiah.  Leaders, teachers, and people daily make it their duty to denounce the truth in Christ Jesus. They appear as "lights" in a lost world. But there is only one "light", that is Jesus Christ. This week we break this down and look at the "antichrists" and what it means. Further we push on in indepth study to find more out about False Prophets.
