Tonight's show will pick up where it left off with Cedy's segment since she didn't have much time to really discuss what's been going on at the University of Missouri, investing education in HBCU vs PWI, how educated African Americans pose a threat and a little history flashback with Little Rock Nine (1957). Then we turn to Tim's Tidbits and this one is going to be interesting since it's regarding CHILD SUPPORT.... Hmmmm this should be interesting. We all like to crash a wedding or two and be able to talk about it right? Well Chantel will be bringing the scoop on Kendrick Lamar's recent wedding crash. Of course we'll be bringing you the sports updates that you might have missed and What Grinds Jules Gears. The topic of discussion will be a good one and I'm sure there will be a lot of callers coming in since it's dealin with a HALL PASS... We also have a speciall guest host as well.

This Monday sees a brand new episode of Graphic Policy Radio with a special guest Marjorie Liu who makes her first time appearance on the show to discuss her newest comic series Monstress, her career, and more!
New York Times bestselling and award-winning writer Marjorie Liu is best known for her fiction and comic books. She teaches comic book writing at MIT, and she leads a class on Popular Fiction at the Voices of Our Nation (VONA) workshop.
Ms. Liu is a highly celebrated comic book writer. Her extensive work with Marvel includes the bestselling Dark Wolverine series, NYX: No Way Home, X-23, and Black Widow: The Name of the Rose. She received national media attention for Astonishing X-Men, which featured the gay wedding of X-Man Northstar and was subsequently nominated for a GLAAD Media Award for outstanding media images of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. Ms. Liu also wrote the story for the animated film, Avengers Confidential: Black Widow and Punisher, which was produced by Marvel, Sony Pictures Entertainment (Japan) Inc., and Madhouse Inc.
Her newest work is Monstress is an original, creator-owned comic book series with Japanese artist (and X-23 collaborator) Sana Takeda. The series is set in an alternate, matriarchal 1920’s Asia and follows a girl’s struggle to survive the trauma of war. With a cast of girls and monsters and set against a richly imagined aesthetic of art deco-inflected steampunk, the first issue was an instant hit.
On top of that Ms. Liu is also the author of more than 19 novels, is a frequent lecturer and guest speaker, and was previously a lawyer.

Ryan Rocks It! with friend Colie Brice Monday, November 23 RD at 5:30 PM. I have known this awesome and multi talented Man for many years now. I first heard Colie perform with Jason Lusardi aka Jay Walker, bass player. Colie and Jay played together for many years in Colie's band "Folie Brice New Age Blues Experience". I like this qote of Colie's, "Experiences Compose the Symphony of Life", so true. Colie has recorded over 30 something albums, some on mjajor labels with big budgets, others recorded at home DY style on indie labels. Recording highlights range from three elaborately produced albums with Phantom's Opera which at on etime featured Michael Romeo (Symphony X) and later Karl Cochran of Ace Frehley (KISS) and Joe Lynn Turner's (Rainbow, Deep Purple, Yngwie Malmsteen). Colie will tell you that he was stubbornly persistent in pursuing a big time music carer, but after tripping out at a Grateful Dead Show, he started pursuing a more personal creative direction he called the "LUNA MUSE" principle and started branding his own kind of music he loosely called New Age Blues. To that end, in 1997, Colie's Solo debut New Age Blues was accepted in teh 40 TH Annyual Gramy Nomination Entry List in several cataegories including Top Instrumental for "17G (Tribute to Jerry."
As a stage musician, Colie has performed at diverse venues ranging from The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, to the Roxy Theater in Hollywood, California and many points inbetween. Colie shared the bill with an scletic variety of notable acts such as Dick Dale, Layonne Homes ( Jon Bon Jovi Solo Band), Juggling Suns, Tony Levin, Dick Manitoba, Marshall Tucker, Skid Row, Jill Sobule and Southside and the Asbury Jukes among many others.

Short Bio: Dennis O’Keith Garner
Dennis Garner began playing the electric guitar at the age of 4. By age 5, Dennis had been chosen to perform at the Greensboro Coliseum before thousands of people during a church convention. He spent his youth learning how to use his God given talents which led him to play other instruments including; but not limited to, the bass guitar, organ, keyboard, piano, and all percussions. His talents opened the door for him to play for many church and social events.
Dennis became a versatile songwriter as well as a Producer/Arranger. He has had the opportunity to work with Producer Quincy Jones (Q Productions) and David Jones who is a former producer of Motown Records. Dennis has opened up shows for many gospel artists such as The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Gospel Keynotes, Billy Paul, John P. Kee, Luther Barnes, Ben Tankard and Darryl Coley. Dennis' first recording was R&B at Mega Sound Studio in Bailey, NC. Later he was involved with Cloudbourne Studio in Detroit, MI. The turning point came in 1985 when he was cast as a guitar player in The Color Purple, a movie starring Oprah Winfrey and Whoopi Goldberg.
