Speaking to a woman or man in Public.....Is there a certain approach ?

    in Radio

Next Saturday we are talking about approaching the opposite sex when out and about. Is there a right way? Why is it when you pass a woman out on the street and you speak she acts like she can't speak back? When a man speaks to you does that atuomatically mean he is trying to holler at you? Why do women assume that? Just because a man speaks that doesn't mean he's trying to have sex with you. Don't believe me? call in at 607-203-5357

This week in review and How Social should we be in "Social Media"?

    in Lifestyle

Twitter, Facebook, IG, Pinterest, Linkedin, Google...even MySpace. How do we manage them all? Why do we manage them all? What is the benefit to our lives? There is a reason that having a great idea, a basic knowledge of coding and a logical thought process can make you a millionaire tomorrow or in some cases a billionaire.

As humans, no matter how much we try to present a public persona to the contrary, we love to be connected. On this episode, we are going to talk the pros and cons of that connectivity. When is sharing too much of a detriment. Whether you are Kevin Hart, a local politician or pastor, where is the line. We will talk about this with film maker and brand coach, DeShaun Davis.

This episode is brought to you by P2P Media Consultants and MyWordCentral.

HOW TO TALK SO PEOPLE WILL LISTEN--REAL TALK on "ME, GOD and A CUP OF COFFEE"

    in Women

#347-996-5568, What will you be doing Saturday morning at 8 a.m. - JOIN ME FOR A CUP OF COFFEE and let's chat about "Talking So People will Listen".  Yes, sometimes I feel like it's a lost art. Everything depends on good communication, both at home and in public.  YOU CAN COMMUNICATE WITH CONFIDENCE!  I want to share some excerpts with you from Florence and Marita Littauer's book.  JOIN ME. - "Me God and A Cup Of  Coffee" is a show that recognizes that every day must start with a morning conversation with God.  Through sharing your experiences with others we realize that "We are more alike than we are different".  Join us for a morning conversation. Grab your mug and fill it up.  #347-996-5568, Saturday at 8 a.m. weekly.

ME – Well I’m just your average everyday woman, filled with Life, Love and Laughter.  I’m excited about life’s benefits, though not always excited about my choices.  I rise each morning looking forward to a great cup of coffee and a good book.  Sometimes the Bible, preferably, but always a good read.  My morning would not be morning without God and my Cup of Coffee.

GOD – My source of joy, my reason for living, my beginning and my end.  The beauty that I see when I look into a flower.  The birds I hear chirping as I lay in bed meditating on my day. The peace that surpasses all understanding.  My friend and comforter in Him I live, move and have my being.  G0d – My everything.

Coffee – Part of every good conversation and Privy to every private thought.  The start of every friendship begins with Coffee. In the acknowledgment of life or even the report of death there’s usually coffee.  The universal language for “The Talk”.
