The success of Michele Brody’s work thrives on the interaction with new communities and environments. She received her BA from Sarah Lawrence College in 1989 and her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1994. She has utilized a background in the liberal and fiber arts to create site-specific, mixed-media installations, and works of public art generated by the history, culture, environment, nature and architecture of a wide range of venues. While living and working in France, Costa Rica, California, the Midwest, Germany, and her home of New York City, Brody’s art career has developed into a process of working in collaboration with each new community towards developing an interpretation of the sense of a place as an outsider looking in.She has had one person shows in the U.S. and internationally. Brody has also won distinguished awards and grants. During the spring of 2006 she completed three major permanent public art installations in New York and Texas. In 2007 she was commissioned to create a permanent lobby installation for the Jewish Community Center of Manhattan, and debuted the first interactive performance of Reflections in Tea at the 11th Annual D.U.M.B.O. This episode's guest is Tom Dowd who is an expert in the area of public speaking. Tom is an active member in Toastmasters International, a group of 300,000 members worldwide looking to develop communication and leadership skills. Tom joined in 2008 thinking it was just a way to boost his résumé. It became a wonderful downhill spiral of failure. Whether it was a speech contest or a publisher’s rejection, Toastmasters pushed him beyond his comfort zone to find self-awareness, belief that he could make a difference and the motivation to take smarter steps toward success both personally and professionally. What Tom found was a boost in confidence that changed the path of his life and career. In 2010-2011, he was awarded the District 45 Outstanding Toastmaster of the Year representing over 100 clubs in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and the three eastern most provinces of Canada. Now exhibiting consistent speech contest success, Tom is the two-time Table Topics District 45 champion for 2012 and 2013. Additionally, he is a member of the National Speakers Association and the Global Speakers Federation.
Tom Dowd, AKA Transformation Tom™, is a loving father of three beautiful daughters and a devoted husband from a small town in Maine. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a Communication degree, concentrating on interpersonal and organizational communication. Tom is a prize-winning speaker, an award-winning and Amazon best-selling author, trainer, coach, and radio host—all spurred by his need to be more than a painfully shy and introverted individual on a rollercoaster ride of success.

“In the spirit of advocating for an informed public, I encourage you to carefully assess the arguments offered by the bill’s opponents. To my mind, they are driven by a punishment first ideology, rather than any fact-based assessment.” Whyman (Oct., 2014)
Let's pray like: Jesus, King David, Daniel, Prophetess Anna, Paul and Silas and you!
Luke 18:1 (KJV)
1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Matthew 6:9-13 (KJV)
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Let us pray untill we have the answer!

Attorney Steve Vondran discusses insurance subrogation waivers (contractual waivers often found in commercial property leases and contractor agreements). In most cases courts will uphold the language of contractual limits on liability. Courts do not like to re-write contracts. However, in some subrogation cases the carrier may be presented with facts that suggest gross negligence (failure to exercise even a minimal standard of care) and such limititations on liability (precluding subrogation) could possibly be held void per public policy.

Nester brings back the art of music-making in original songs chronicling her trials and letdowns with the state of music business today and her bout with cancer as a teenager. Her resume includes 12 albums, countless jingles, and over 25 theatrical productions, as well as working with established musicians such as Carlos Santana, Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops, The Fifth Dimension, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
