    Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast

    in Politics

Listen to this edition of the Pan-African Journal hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. We will feature our regular PANW reports focusing on the current plot within the Michigan state legislature to draft yet another scheme to further destroy public education in the city of Detroit amid threats against teachers and parents related to exposure of deplorable conditions within system buildings; further tests in Flint reveal the extensive damage done to the majority African American population and others after the right-wing multi-millionaire Gov. Rick Snyder poisoned the water utilized by the city's 100,000 residents; the African Union is sending a panel to Burundi in an effort to resolve the internal political crisis while accusations of human rights violations by Bujumbura are leveled as the administration of President Pierre Nkurunziza says Rwanda is facilitating the training of rebels in refugee camps; Libya is awaiting yet another imperialist intervention while the so-called Islamic state spreads its influence within the embattled North African state. In the second and third hours we begin a monthlong focus on African American History Month for 2016. The first installment will examine the role of Dr. W.E.B. DuBois in the development of African and African American historical and social scientific studies.

WORLD WIDE AFRICA THE VOICE OF THE PAN AFRICAN MOVEMENT

    in Politics

What exactly is the Spiritual stance of the Black Panther Party? THE SON OF MAN TEMPLE was created by Huey P. Newton which had a purpose in the spiritual  lives of the Panthers through the acceptance of all, but mandated no religious preference. It is stated as follows by Huey in the “STATEMENT OF PURPOSE”

“We have always hoped that we could establish a place in our community where hundreds of ideas could grow and flourish, where people could feel free to say and do the things that seemed most natural to them.  The Son of Man Temple was created for that purpose, to serve in humankind’s development.

However, the place in which we come together to espresso our humanity is not a church in the most traditional sense.  We do not practice a religion; we are not Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, or Moslem. We do not honor one God or one reverend.  This does not mean that we negate any religion; we all have differing philosophies and jews of our world.  We are all part of everything and it is a part of each of us.

Our belief is that every human being has the right to be free.  We can all agree that we are not.  Therefore, we come together to express our agreement on the belief every Sunday at the Son of Man Temple.  It is a place where we can come to discover and learn.  If we begin the week with this kind of unity and understanding, we can carry through each day our concern and an enthusiastic felling about our survival and our freedom.

The ways in which we express this agreement about our desire to break away from our common problems—oppression—may differ.  Some of us might sing or dance about it, some of us might play music about it, or some of us might speak about various aspects of our problem. It does not matter what we do if it is done with sincerity and in our people’s interest." Huey P. Newton

Black History who is a Hero / Shero

    in Politics Progressive

Who do you admire in the history African Women and Man of Earth?

I dont know much about Black History so for me this information instills pride in a people.

Descendants of former African enslaved people needs to know that history to restore that pride. With pride come respect and honor. When you don’t know who you are and where you come will leave you open to except distorted facts about who you are. It is important you know where you can from so you know where you are going.

Seeking more knowledge reduces the amount of self-hatred within the people the share my features. Stacey Dash recently let black folks know she is with white folks in destroying who she is mainly coz they are paying her.

For the month of February, in order to bring back True Black Power / True Africa Pride for the Month of February my show will be devoted to Nationhood and our Elders that pushed this message from Marcus Gravy.  We must refine the message for today and still push for Nationhood today!

    Portion Outline - PROPHETS

Jeremiah 34:8 | Treacherous Treatment of Slaves
Jeremiah 33:14 | The Righteous Branch and the Covenant with David

    Portion Summary

The eighteenth reading from the Torah is named Mishpatim (??????), which means “judgments.” The title comes from the first words of the first verse of the reading, which could be literally translated to say, “And these are the judgments which you will place before them” (Exodus 21:1). The first three chapters of this Torah portion deliver a legal code of laws and commandments that form a nucleus for the Torah’s laws. The last chapter tells the story of how the people of Israel consented to keep these laws and entered into a covenant relationship with God through a series of rituals conducted by Moses
