In this program, attorney John Schuman of Devry Law joins Steve Peck to discuss the voice of a child during divorce.
Divorcing is tough enough, but add children to the mix, and divorce just got more complicated. Some parents get so caught up in the drama of divorce that they forget to think about how their children might be processing this restructuring of their families.
Protecting our children’s innocence should be the priority when divorcing, and this program will help you gain insight into what your children might be experiencing, regardless of their ages. In this discussion, Mr. Schuman also provides valuable advice to parents, especially those in high-conflict situations.
Topics in the program include:
The effect divorce has on children Kids don’t want to decide where to live Children want to have a voice in the situation too The harm of fighting with your ex at sporting and public events Co-parenting around your children’s activities The concerns children
Join Dave Nassaney, this Wed. 12/17/14 at noon, PST, as he interviews Barbara Allisen, kindergarten teacher and expert on raising children, on "Dave, The Caregiver's Caregiver Radio Show".as she talks about young moms and their challenges raising young children, special needs children and the stresses of balancing all the responsibilities of motherhood with being a wife, parent, home-maker, job, etc.
It is clear that the bible lies about existence of the world, God, and people. In the use of metaphisics and allegory and symbolism. Children must have trouble distinguishing truth from lie
We're living in a age when evil is called good and good is called evil. Both adults and children are being bombarded with evil that is presented in a good way. What do we do with such things? How do we react? What is proper in God's eyes?
The P0rn Slayer sees it too! Your Cleavage, Their Commercials, Our Kardashians, and other Unwrapped Gifts that we didn't ask for.
The P0rn Slayer is a bold and transparent father teaching his children about freedom from sexual addiction, perversions and p0rnography.
What does the internet, TV, the music industry, movies, and the news media all have in common? They all teach our children and teach us how we're supposed to relate with each other and ourselves sexually. The church? ...hmmm, not so much.
Real Talk is here.
“1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” “John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
“Galatians 4:22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. 23 But he [who was] of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman [was] by promise."
As one who always loved to immerse his face in the stream of life, let's talk about people who want to run away from it. Memoirs is about those who do in fact flee the challenge of life and seek refuge, in their case not in a bottle but rather in the nuthouse. Of course, enough bottle and the nuthouse (or prison or death) is just one more slip away. As a shrink I knew and worked with many people who were addicted, especially to booze. In fact, I often took them to their first AA meeting, something few shrinks do. No, I wasn't a member, but there are open meetings. I would try to arrange for one of my other clients who was living sober to be there for that same meeting. Funny coincidence...NOT! I would just say, "Hey Matt, this is Cathy. She can help you understand what's happening maybe go with you to a regular meeting." That helped a lot of people get their start in recovery.
So what does that have to do with my writing? Well, drunks tell great stories. I have another book, "Tales From the Dew Drop Inne", that tells the story of the gang who hang at that bar, which I set in Albuquerque. Not too surprisingly, the gang goes to find one of their number at a meeting to get him to be part of their bar softball team. Well, you can imagine what happens, but we can talk it.

On this episode of ‘The Smithfix’ we continue with Prepping and turn our attention to health and natural medicine.
Tonight we have a valued addition to We Resisters Radio, Brandi Medeina- Certified Nutritional Therapist and Herbalist.
Prepper Nutrition, Natural Medicine, Herbs…, this will be a great show.
Brandi moved to the wilds of the Pacific Northwest in 2004 from the foreign land of California. She escaped a long career in which she worked with two Fortune 500 companies, and one Fortune 100 company. What brought her north was an opportunity to purchase a small business in a small town which was where she wanted to raise her kids. Shortly after buying a small retail establishment that specialized in natural foods, and supplements, she recognized that she seemed to have an affinity for the retaining the knowledge that came her way.
In 2007 she attended classes and obtained a certification in Nutritional Therapy. This modality respects bio-individuality and encourages personal accountability for one’s health. Using symptom analysis, Kinesiology, and Lingual-Neural testing, she helps the individual identify nutritional deficiencies and assists in getting them back to optimal wellness.
Her passion is creation, the outdoors. Much of the time in the summer, she can be found in the woods, identifying medicinal plants, wild crafting and making her own medicines, salves and teas. After successfully home-schooling her children, she has now entered a new season, and is excited about sharing that with We Resisters Radio listeners.
