This week I will be examining the myriad causes of dysfunction millions of men throughout the world face as they age with Dr. Jim Occhiogrosso who is the author of Your Prostate, Your Libido, Your Life. we will be discussing detailed information on nutrients, herbs, and lifestyle changes that can help alleviate common problems like; erectile dysfunction, loss of libido, prostate enlargement, difficulty urinating, and prostate cancer.
Dr. Occhiogrosso began studying natural health in the early 1990s. After suffering from prostate issues himself for 10 years, Dr. Occhiogrosso was told by his Urologist that he may have prostate cancer. Choosing to fight this naturally, he set a deadline that if he could not reverse or at least improve his condition, he would seek medical attention, including a biopsy. Five months later, in August of 2001, using nutrition, lifestyle changes, vitamins, minerals, and several herbs, he had reduced his PSA by more than half to 3.5, increased his free PSA slightly and considerably reduced his bouts of urinary urgency and erectile dysfunction. He received diplomas from Trinity College of Natural Health as a Doctor of Naturopathy, Master Herbalist, along with a certificate in nutritional counseling. To this day, he continues studying natural products both formally and informally, and is a member in good standing of the Tampa, Florida chapter of the Certified Natural Health Professionals
We were honored to feature Dr. Laurence Klotz, an acknowledged authority on active surveillance for the management of low-risk prostate cancer. Dr. Klotz is Professor in the Department of Surgery, University of Toronto Division of Urology, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, ON, Canada.
Dr. Klotz and panelists discussed evidence supporting value of active surveillance as a management strategy for men who are diagnosed with low- or very low-risk forms of prostate cancer. Dr. Klotz spoke particularly about factors that are key to the high-quality implementation of active surveillance, including accumulating evidence that true Gleason 6 disease is not associated with any significant risk for metastasis, importance of early identification of patients who do, in fact, have real risk for disease progression over time, are therefore not good candidates for active surveillance, and managing these patients, evolving strategies to minimize need for overly frequent (i.e., annual) biopsies, including potential role of multiparametric MRIs and new biomarkers, as also whether active surveillance is appropriate for a subset of men with Gleason 3 + 4 = 7 disease who have a very small volume Gleason pattern 4 disease.
On the panel were Mike Scott, Thomas N. Krik, Tony Crispino and Walter Green Jr.

I'm very happy to bring you guys Dr Charlie Glickman who is going to be discussing his latest book The Ultimate Guide to Prostate Pleasure Erotic Exploration for Men and Their Partners.
The “discovery” of the G-spot opened up an era of sexual expansion for millions of women. Just as G-Spot exploration forever transformed women’s experience of orgasm, The Ultimate Guide to Prostate Pleasure: Erotic Exploration for Men and Their Partners offers men erotic pleasure beyond what they imagined possible. Men who may not feel confident exploring anal play will be empowered to claim the prostate as an erogenous zone ripe for exploration. And men who already enjoy prostate play will find much to learn from sex educator Charlie Glickman, PhD, whose wisdom and warmth will be both reassuring and inspirational to readers.
Dr. Charlie Glickman is an in-demand international sexuality educator, writer, blogger, workshop teacher, and university professor. One of the foremost experts on sexual health, he is certified as a sexuality educator by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists.
"I appreciate that I was exposed to new ways of thinking about prostate stimulation and to perspectives that Charlie and Aislinn have gleaned from others’ trials, errors, and significant pleasures. This very good book will likely influence many people’s sexual lives, and ways of thinking about sex and what it means to be a man (and a sexual man), for years to come." –Debbie Herbenick, author of Great in Bed

Robert Clark was diagnosed with Stage 1 Prostate cancer. His work as a cranberry farmer in the ‘70s may have exposed him to some harmful, cancer-causing pesticides and herbicides. Now, for anyone that knows about prostate cancer, there is a high tendency to remove the prostate using the da Vinci Surgical System, a robot commonly used for prostatectomies. This can lead to problems with controlling urine, blood in the urine and sexual dysfunction. On the other hand, radiation treatment can lead to similar side effects, including Peyronie’s disease, a deformation of the male genitalia. This type of surgical or radiation treatment procedure may deplete your quality of life, but in some cases it’s necessary. Integrative approaches should be used regardless, to help patient reach entirely better overall health.
But Bob didn’t have to face any of that. A good friend of his recommended Envita to him, so he checked into their program and got started. Even better, because Bob’s cancer was caught at such an early stage, he didn’t need chemotherapy or radiation treatment. Instead, his immune system was cranked back up to an 11 using immunotherapy and nutritional therapy developed by Envita’s medical team.
Envita normally doesn’t share testimonials until after a long period of remission. In Bob’s case, he’s had eight years without any return of the cancer. Bob was smart and approached his cancer using the world’s latest technologies. This reminds us how powerful the human body is at healing when provided the correct steps. He used nothing but powerful natural treatments. Does integrative medicine work? For those with experience, it’s the most complete form of care.
Thanks to Envita, Bob returned to his quality of life without having to give up his prostate or suffer through surgery and side effects. Congratulations Bob. We all wish continued success in your health.
