Tonight on Liberal Dan Radio I continue the discussion of the Prop 8 arguments made in front of the supreme court. Today I will finish off the comments made by the petitioners, the challengers, and the Solicitor General of the United States.
There will also be the snarky look at this week's headlines, the tweet of the week, words of redneck wisdom, and an update from coolminiornot.com. All tonight on Liberal Dan Radio: Talk from the left, that's right.
And, as always, if you want to debate the topic after the show, the topic thread is here:

The 2013 Coachella Valley Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast honored the memory Harvey Milk, an American hero..The keynote speaker was Judge Vaughn Walker who, on August 4, 2010, ruled that Proposition 8 was unconstitutional “under both the Due Process and Equal Protection Clauses” of the United States Constitution and prohibited its enforcement. The rest is history.

Joel Fox has worked hard to secure California's Proposition 13, which limits the amount property owners can be taxed. Ever since the Proposition was passed, it has been under attack, but never more than right now. If people are successful in dismantling Prop 13, the exodus from CA will be even worse than it already is. AND “Dr. John Lott Jr., President of the Crime Prevention Research Center and author

Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?
There are always at least two sides to every story. Have you ever wondered how someone, who saw the same thing you did, walked away telling a vastly different story? Which version was correct? Which one was the REAL story? Actually, both are! It’s just a matter of perspective.
Joe takes the issues… especially the controversial issues (politics, prejudice, religion, illegal immigration)… and brings in people from different sides to share their viewpoint. This is definitely not a fluff piece. And while no one is attacked, the questions are hard-hitting.
But the conversation is always respectful and you’re sure to learn something new, even if you don’t agree!
If you’ve always wondered how the “other side” thinks and how they’ve arrived at their “stand”, then this is the show for you!
It’s not the right side, it’s not the wrong side, but the REAL side of the issues!

Proposition 8 has been overturned and there is joy and gay marriage in California. But it is a bad precedent for the Court to overrule the people, says UC Irvine Law School Dean Erwin Chemerinsky.
