?We spend our lives communicating. In the last fifty years, we've zoomed through radically different forms of communication, from typewriters to tablet computers, text messages to tweets. We generate more and more words with each passing day. Hiding in that deluge of language are amazing insights into who we are, how we think, and what we feel.
In The Secret Life of Pronouns, social psychologist and language expert James W. Pennebaker uses his groundbreaking research in computational linguistics-in essence, counting the frequency of words we use-to show that our language carries secrets about our feelings, our self-concept, and our social intelligence. Our most forgettable words, such as pronouns and prepositions, can be the most revealing: their patterns are as distinctive as fingerprints. Show More Show Less
This reprise episode of Cosmic Citizen explored Seraphic Planetary Government. We picked up at Paper 114 §6 The Master Seraphim of Planetary Supervision and immediately moved to our first exploration of our study of "The Unceasing Campaign of The Master Seraphim" with Neal Waldrop and Charles Olivea. Your host Paula Thompson and cohosts Christilyn Larson and André Radatus followed Neal's lead through this remarkable study.
We began with Part I: Origins. Among other questions we asked: Seraphim are of origin in the Creative Mother Spirit who is of The Infinite Spirit. Master Seraphim are Seraphington graduates, completion seraphim. So, are they more related to God the Spirit, to God the Supreme, or both?
We also explored what the use of feminine pronouns might signify about the nature of these seraphim.
And what was the significance that the Chief of Seraphim is not a seraphim but a primary supernaphim of Paradise origin?
The discussion got quite interesting as we explored the implications of all these questions.
We recommend that those who listen in and desire to get ahead on this detailed study do so by visiting the following link and downloading copies of Neal Waldrop’s study guide on this rich topic:

It was not until the very end of the medieval period (ca. 1500) that a definition emerged of the witch as a person in league with the devil, and that full-scale persecution began. In the period from 1000-1500 concepts of the witch ranged from that of benevolent healer to feared sorcerer or sorceress. The transition from these early vague ideas of witchcraft to a fully-formed image of the diabolical witch deserves study in the history of marginality because it illustrates the rhetoric of persecution that had come into existence by the end of the medieval period. In fact, the languages of exclusion aimed at deviant sexuality, heretics, Jews, and lepers, were all utilized in the definition of the witch. Both men and women were accused of witchcraft. Even the notorious witch-hunting manual, the Malleus Malleficarum, used pronouns of both genders to discuss and to identify witches. On the other hand, the Malleus also contained statements like "No one does more harm to the Catholic faith than midwives". Furthermore, estimates indicate that, in the period of greatest persecution (1500-1700) the overwhelming majority of executed victims were female (82%).The origins of medieval witchcraft are not clear. Jeffrey Russell identified four current theories about medieval witchcraft:
Same sex couples are discussed. Why or why not same sex couples should be allowed to raise children. will it corrupt them, teach them to be gay? Will they grow up differently from those children who had both a mother and a father? Why shouldn't same sex couples be able to adopt children and start families. Also touches on Genderqueer (part of the gender identification) and pronouns.
Dick B.'s son Ken discusses the 135 occurrences of the word "God" in pages 1-164 of the fourth edition of Alcoholics Anonymous ("the Big Book"), along with the 81 occurrences of capitalized pronouns referring to the Creator of the heavens and the earth in those pages and the 16 occurrences of biblical descriptions of the Creator in those same 164 pages. He also discusses the myths that: (1) "the Big Book has never changed"; and (2) the "basic text" of A.A. is the (four) Foreword(s), "The Doctor's Opinion," pages 1-164 (in the second, third, and fourth editions of the Big Book), and "Appendix II: Spiritual Experience" in the Big Book. In addition, he discusses key lessons those who ignore the "Personal Stories" section of the Big Book--and particularly the 26 of the original 29 personal testimonies in the back of the first edition (1939) of the Big Book--are missing about why early A.A. succeeded.
Have you ever noticed the possessive pronouns and adjectives used in the Scriptures. These are very important in growing up spiritually. They help us to know who WE are, what WE possess and WHERE WE live. For example, Paul wrote: "I beseech you, brethren, that YOU present YOUR bodies". Even if you didn't like English in school, you will like this!!!!!
