President Obama came to this New Jersey city on Monday to "hold you up as a symbol of promise for the nation."Camden consolidated its city police force into a countywide police department, increasing the number of officers on the street and working to develop better relations with the city's residents. It has been designated a "promise zone," a program using federal grants to help improve public health, community policing and job creation; It is also participating in the "my brother's keeper community challenge," in which the federal government, working with state and local officials, the private sector and charities, help develop programs to keep young people in school, find jobs for the ones who graduate, and protect them all from violent crime.Jersey.com
THE FEELING OF BELONGING TO SOMEONE
The feeling of belonging to someone is so powerful because, don't forget it's a feeling and feelings are not necessarily right or wrong they just exist and we have to deal with them. When you meet someone you like and I'm talking in a romantic sense, and as the days and weeks go by then you start to feel like I want her to mine or him to be mine that's the feeling of wanting to belong to someone and it just comes out of nowhere even though you set yourself up for it. I just pray and hope that when that happens to you that the other person that you have feelings for feels the same way as you do.
With that being said we have to be careful because there's so many different ways people look at belonging to someone and someone belonging to them.
Telling your beloved, "You belong to me," is common among lovers, but it is politically incorrect these days: Each of us is autonomous and should not belong to another person. Needless to say, no one literally belongs to anyone else. But can we speak about belonging in a psychological sense? I believe we can and should.
The term "belonging" has various meanings. Two major meanings are "possession" and "acceptance as a natural part." If belonging is taken in its literal sense of possession, then it is obviously wrong in a relationship, since possessing your partner implies ownership and control. However, if it is understood in the sense of being accepted as a natural part, it makes romantic sense.

Join Your Radio Minister, Superintendent R.D. Vance, for this week's lecture of the Sunday School lesson. All lessons are derived from the Uniform Sunday School Lessons series; scriptures are from the King James version of the Holy Bible (unless otherwise noted).
Currently, the Republican Party in the U.S. is considering rewriting the Constitution to officially make America a Christian nation. If this happened, this country would go back to the 1700's when a king told the citizens they HAD to worship a certain way and in one church. The people then hid and worshipped the way they wanted. To dismantle the Constitution brings us back in a time when people fled Europe to come to a new country where anyone could come here and worship any way they chose, without persecution.
Contrary to popular belief today, the founding fathers of America were in fact not Christians but Deists and Universalists. Yes, they believed in God but they did not believe in the Bible as the word of God. nor in miracles, nor in God's influence on mankind while on Earth.
Judy Sellins and Dave Turco will set the record straight about America's early history and what the founders really believed, including Jefferson, Washington, Adams, Madison, and Franklin and later Lincoln. The facts will astound you!
