A Warrant for Criminal Charges Against Georgia's Governor Nathan Deal?

    in Family

What would happen if hundreds of people from 159 Counties in the State of Georgia swore-out private citizen warrants and initated criminal charges against Governor Nathan Deal and Attorney General Sam Olens?  Well, this episode will discuss a "Warrant for Criminal Charges Against Georgia's Governor Nathan Deal," and the State Attorney General.  We will discuss the adverse effects of Georgia's private citizen warrant under OCGA 17-4-40 where citizens initiate criminal charges against members of the public with no oversight by the Georgia legislatures, judges or members of law enforcement;  notice is required, but judges have abandoned the notice provision and no police or investgative report is required to consider issuance of a warrant . We will discuss how simple it is for Georgia's Governor Nathan Deal and others to be the subject of an application for a warrant and arrest and we will discuss what Governor Nathan Deal can do by way of an executive order to issue an immediate Moratorium and Directive on the issuance of private citizen warrants. The moratorium will authorize reexamination of the law authorizing private citizen warrants as well as whether Georgia should repeal their laws and akin to states like Tennessee, whether Georgia should amend its laws to authorize summons as oppose to warrants, whether the onus on the party with the Burden of Proof to establish as a matter of law the existence of fact of all elements of his or her case should shift from "probable cause" to Clear and Convincing for issuing a warrant or to Beyond a Reasonable Doubt before a person can be subject to deprivation of their liberty (jailed).

Black Police Officers: Where is Your Loyalty?

    in Current Events

When Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced that charges would be filed against six Baltimore police officers in the death of Freddie Gray, did anyone assume that these officers were all white men?  Who would think there would be three black officers involved in the death of young black man when the statistic are so high when it comes to officer involved shootings of blacks.

The three black officers, Caesar R. Goodson, William G. Porter and Sergeant Alicia D. White all had a choice of involvement.  Did the Blue Code take precedence over the human rights of this black man?

Join Hot Topics Talk Radio as they sit down for an in-depth discussion regarding this very controversial issue that continues to raise questions about the loyalty of Black Law Enforcement Officers.
