"Family Talk Wednesday" Why Hurt People Hurt People

    in Family

It is an old adage that says “hurt people hurt people.”It is well known that those who have been emotionally damaged tend to inflict their hurt and pain on other people.

The following are common traits hurt people display in their interactions with others.

*Hurt people often transfer their inner anger onto their family and close friends.

*Hurt people interpret every word spoken to them through the prism of their pain.

*Hurt people interpret every action through the prism of their pain.

*Hurt people often portray themselves as victims and carry a “victim spirit”.

*Hurt people often alienate others and wonder why no one is there for them.

*Hurt people have the emotional maturity of the age they received their (un-dealt with) hurt.

*Hurt people are often frustrated and depressed because past pain continually spills over into their present consciousness.

*Hurt people often erupt with inappropriate emotion because particular words, actions, or circumstances “touch” and “trigger” past woundedness.

*Hurt people often occupy themselves with busyness, work, performance, and/or accomplishments as a way of compensating for low self-esteem.

*Hurt people often attempt to medicate themselves with excessive entertainment, drugs, alcohol, ography, sexual relationships, or hobbies as a way to forget their pain and run from reality.

*Hurt people have learned to accommodate their private “false self” or “dark side” which causes them to be duplicitous and lack integrity.

Informed v. Low Information Voter; Dawn of Trump

    in Politics Progressive

American politics has always been entertainment.

There is no difference between the political process in America and an episode of The Walking Dead or Game of Thrones. As long as you view it through the prism of entertainment you can actually have an enjoyable time following the process.

Black Afrikan nationalists and Afrikan Centered Progressives have no dog in this fight. In fact, the worse things get for our people in America the more people come over to our side and see things from a nationalist perspective and embrace the talking points of Land, Infrastructure & Nationhood.

On this show, we'll give color commentary and technical analysis on the game of American politics, discuss the teams and the players and take calls from other people into the entertainment value as much as we are.

    Sue Dent

    in Entertainment

Sue Dent’s publishing career began in 2005 when she self-published her debut novel Never Ceese before submitting her story to publishing houses. In 2006 Dent was picked up by the now defunct Journey Stone Creations. In that same year, Never Ceese made the Bram Stoker Award Preliminary Ballot for Superior Achievement in a First Novel and was chosen Book Club Choice for the month of May at the American Christian Writers Association, the only general market horror book to ever be selected. She also went to Book Expo America with that publisher and signed over 400 books to give away to librarians and bookstores.

In 2009, and with her new publisher The Writers Café Press, Sue’s second novel Forever Richard made the 2009 Long-list at the British Fantasy Society. The review done by BFS reviewer Maryann Boo showed up in the BFS Prism magazine. When her second publisher/friends sadly went under, Sue joined forces with Black Bed Sheet Book owner Nicholas Grabowsky known for having penned Halloween IVNever Ceese went on to claim one of the top three spots in Yellow Sci-Fi’s Pluto Awards with Forever Richard making the long-list there as well. As a bonus, and much to Dent’s surprise, Never Ceese was voted #1 Best Christian Horror at BestHorror.com beating out the likes of Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti.

Her third novel to date, Electric Angel, earned another resounding review from the British Fantasy Society who “asked” to review the story when they learned Dent had a new release. “Simply Brilliant,” was the review deemed too short to publish. Dent continues to write, raise her daughter and son while fostering and taking care of her own kittens/cats. She’s learned a lot about publishing and loves to share what she knows. She now publishes primarily from her own S D Enterprise
