When will you elect a President like me - please - it's 4 our own good & world

    in Elections

Wherever you are, either within or outside the political spectrum, you should have doubts, disappointments and the desire to correct the mess which is our political government and its politically appointed officials & elected representatives. I am neither of those nor ever intend to be one. I wish to serve our country and you as President. Please excuse such a big statement. I know it's important statement. It's almost audacious, almost preposterous, except for you and me, if only, you can weather my broadcasts on Blog Talk Radio - not for a moment compromising your views, but expanding on what is better. Although not bigger than conventional radio, Blog Talk Radio is the only medium open to me for a presently unknown and presently insignificant person. But, imagine, for this moment and more to come, Clinton vs. Clinton in the 2016 Presidential Election: a person of the people ( not of a party ) VERSUS politics, PACs, political influence, political contributions, campaign banners, buttons and tv ads.

I am for everything better and good. I present myself without the aid of campaign financing or political endorsements. I come to you, as in the old days, by word of mouth and the ride by light of Paul Revere.

I am capable of this feat. The same may be said of you.

I am thankful for your time and consideration...

I am thankful for our country..

SATURDAY WAKE-UP CALL - The Power of Non-Violence

    in Spirituality

The Power of Non-Violence is our topic for this week as we engage in 64 days of A Season for Nonviolence.

The Gandhi King Season for Nonviolence (SNV) commenced for the 18th consecutive year on January 30, 2015 in cities across the globe. The annual 64 day campaign, co-founded in 1998 by Dr. Arun Gandhi and The Association for Global New Thought (AGNT), is an educational, media and grassroots awareness campaign spanning the January 30th and April 4th memorial anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The purpose of the campaign is to focus educational and media attention on the philosophy of attaining peace through nonviolent action as demonstrated by legendary leaders Mohandas K. Gandhi, Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., Cesar E. Chavez, and President Nelson Mandela, as well as living legends such as His Holiness, Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet. ~ http://www.agnt.org/node/10

ZBTR Round Table- Review Zambia Decides 2015

    in Elections

On Tuesday January 20, 2015 Zambians went to the polls and elected their 6th Republican President, H.E. Edgar Chagwa Lungu in what has been dubbed the closest and highly contested election in the history of the nation won by a margin of less than 5%. The election however was without incident; the loosing runner up Hichilema Hakainde has still maintained the election was 'stolen' from him, Southern Province voted overwhelmingly for their preferred candidate as has been reflected in previous elections, CopperBelt province also proved it was still a PF stronghold although HH made some inroads and other related matters. The ZBTR Round Table team consisting Dr Liya Mutale (Lusaka), Apostle Margaret Buter (England), Matilda Mwaba-Lucas (Florida) & Pastor Davies Lombe (Chicago) will reflect and review the following; voting patterns, How does the nation move forward based on what these voting patterns revealed?, Role of the Clergy and traditional rulers in Zambia's political process & H.E Edgar Lungu's presidency. Join us as the panelists' give us broad based views from their regions of the world.

Getting Hammered with Steve Hamilton and Stevie J West - Jan 30, 2015

    in Politics Conservative

It's Friday night, and of course, that means, Live from the AltCon Studios at Casa de Hammy...we are Getting Hammered!!  Tonight, Stevie J West is out sick so Jodi and Di, two of the lovely ladies from The Red Whine Show here on AltConRadio, have agreed, under much duress, to join me as co-hosts for tonight’s show.  Good for you, bad for them (I owe them BIG time for this).

So, what we learned this week: The Taliban not terrorists (apparently), Bergdahl not a deserter (apparently), Romney is not gonna be president (apparently), and the Jordanians are (apparently) the only country that actually knows how to "negotiate" with terrorists.  Plus, we'll talk about the 1rst amendment, yeah, the "establishment" clause part, the part everybody screws up? You know the one, should be, um, interesting :)

So grab a cold one and join us at the bar...it's Friday Night and we are Getting Hammered!
