During the nearly five and a half years of the Obama presidency, America has been moving in the wrong direction. The U.S. economy continues to struggle through the longest and slowest recovery from recession since World War II. From Benghazi to Ukraine, U.S. foreign policy has collapsed. U.S. world leadership has receded to a low not seen since the 1930s. Have we hit bottom yet?
Despite the appalling state of affairs, we might be optimistic about the future if it wasn’t politics as usual in Washington, D.C. President Obama, and Democrats in Congress continue to campaign on manufactured issues—Republicans’ war on women, income inequality, and global warming—intended to distract Americans from President Obama’s failed leadership. Republicans, on the other hand, continue to play whack-a-mole politics, failing to provide Americans with a specific vision for America’s resurgence, and ineptly investigate Obama administration scandals. 2014 is our last best hope to fire the life-time politicians and replace them with Patriots.
Guest: James Yardley, contributor to American Thinker & blogger, joins me for a look at events in the Middle East, the kids in the border and the general state of the Obama presidency.

We look at the Obama presidency from the 'kids on the border" to "Iraq" to "missing emails" and other issues. It's hard to see how President Obama can recover from this.

Charles Hugh Smith has written recently about the two Most Destructive Presidencies in U.S. History: George W. Bush and Barack H. Obama.
Powers once granted are almost impossible to take back.
After 13.5 years, there is more than enough evidence for reasonable people to conclude that the presidencies of George W. Bush and Barack H. Obama are easily the most destructive in U.S. history.
When historians speak of failed presidencies or weak presidencies, they are typically referring to presidencies characterized by uneven leadership, petty corruption by self-serving cronies or in extreme cases such as the Nixon presidency, abuses of executive power.
But weak or failed presidencies are not destructive to the rule of law and the foundations of the nation. The failed president leaves office and the basic structure of the nation continues: the rule of law, the balance of powers and a free-market economy.
It's a bizarre situation in Washington as several pundits and commentators have openly wondered if the president of the United States is as engaged as he should be.
As the world literally spins out of control, the president appears to be withdrawing from the center of action. Fundraiser after fundraiser, golf games, dinner parties - the president's reputation for "no drama" notwithstanding, the president appears bored and listless in his public appearances.
The chasm that opens up beneath our feet if these observations are even partly true is frightening to contemplate. On tonight's RINO Hour of Power, we'll discuss and try to interpret the president's ennui with Bryan Preston of PJ Media's The Grid and Rich Baehr, political correspondnet of the American Thinker.
We stream live from 8:00 - 9:00 PM Eastern time. A poodcast will be available shortly after the end of the show.
Richard Baehr, Chief Political Correspondent of American Thinker, will join for a review of the Obama presidency, from foreign policy to domestic concerns.

Mr. President, I know this consult is uninvited. But, Wednesday you will address the nation about the threat ISIS poses to the world.
You must not let your own psychology interfere with the message you send to our mortal enemies.
I believe you feel ambivalent about the decency of America. But if you let that ambivalence be known by ISIS, they will be emboldened.
As he has grown weary of Washington, Barack Obama has shed parts of his presidency, like drying petals falling off a rose.

Strong Americans see the gun grabbing Obama administration as running out of time to achieve dictatorship by first, the removal of our guns. The Founding Fathers want us to carry guns in case we ever need them to overthrow a government that has grown to such an extreme as it attempts to regulate every part of our lives. Do you see what is taking place under Obama? A system of government in which the state plans and controls the economy and a single, often authoritarian party holds power, claiming to make progress toward a higher social order in which all goods are equally shared by the people. That is the meaning of Communism. It has never worked.
If we do not get involved, then we are Slaves to those who make the decision for US. If we do not get involved, then we allow a Tyranny Government to rise to Power and we become Slaves to Government. If we get involved, then we are a Democracy in our actions in a Country of a Republic and we all can State our Opinions without fear of a Government threat or Jail, with out Justice, as we are headed Now, with this Government.
Dr. Amy Peikoff, host of "Don't Let It Go...Unheard" joins Andrew Bernstein and I on "Objectively Speaking". We'll discuss current events, Obama's presidency, and hypothesize about the future of the country under Obama's third term as president.
May you have a value-driven day!
Join The Gist of Freedom tonight as we welcome Lenora Branch Fulani.
Ms. Fulani has spent almost three decades fighting to end the two-party system and create a “viable, national, pro-socialist” party for those who feel ignored by the Democratic and Republican parties. Fulani ran for the presidency in 1988 and 1992.
She grew up in Chester, PA and watched her father die because, she said, no ambulance would come to her poor, African-American neighborhood. This, along with the firing of a gay choir director at her church, shaped her desire to address injustice.
A scholarship student at Long Island’s Hofstra University, she graduated in 1971 and then earned a master’s degree from Columbia University’s Teachers College and a Ph.D. in developmental psychology from the City University of New York, where she was much influenced by Dr. Fred Newman, who would serve as both a mentor and her campaign manager. While a guest researcher at Rockefeller University, she joined Newman’s New York Institute for Social Therapy and Research and his New Alliance Party (NAP).
