Fully Persuaded Talks Hope with Adrienne Thompson

    in Motivation

Join me Mondat night as I talk with Adrienne Thompson about  Hope and Faith.  Adrienne Thompson has seen it all, married at sixteen, a mother twice by seventeen, and thrice a
mother and divorced by twenty-four, Adrienne Thompson is
no stranger to adversity. Not your typical teenage mother, she
went on to complete her college degree and to earn her
nursing license. She attributes God's faithfulness as the
catalyst for her success in life. Now, having raised two children
as a single mother, with a third fast approaching adulthood,
she is sharing a long hidden talent and passion with the world.
Using the lessons that life has so expertly taught her as a
guideline (betrayal, abusive relationships, self-esteem issues,
witnessing the deteriorating effects of drug abuse), she has
created stories that will both entertain and inspire the
reader—stories from the soul… for the soul.

BlogTalkRadio's Hope42Day interviews author Mark Elwsick

    in Health

Hope42Day interviews "Ambassadors of Hope" from across the globe: people who are up to good things! Please join Hope42Day's Host Coach Lynn Kindler and her guest Author and TBI thriving survivor Mark Elswick   As a 23-year old, Mark Elswick had everything going for him, a good job, junior in college, baby on the way, loving family environment, and plenty of friends. Then, something that had never crossed his mind interrupted his comfortable young life.   Mark was involved in a bizarre auto accident, sustaining a severe traumatic brain injury. Following life support and a month-long coma, he was forced to re-learn life’s basic necessities. He had to retrain his brain to think, eat, walk, talk, and everything else imaginable.  Mark was able to take the lessons he had learned from his parents and the strong examples of preserverance his father set caring for his family of six to help him through this traumatic event.   Immediately after his accident, his family was told Mark wouldn’t make it through the day.  A week later, they were told that Mark would be a vegetable “if” he ever regained consciousness. Fortunately, though, the perseverance Mark saw daily from family, friends, teachers, coaches, and community members has propelled him to rise above those negative predictions.   Since then, Mark graduated from the Univ. of Michigan-Flint with a B.A. in English and double minor in Writing and British Literature. Then, he earned my M.A. from Central Michigan Univ.  In addition to his student status, he's been a sportswriter, sports editor, substitute teacher, jr. hi. teacher, college professor, and university coordinator.   Tune in for a show full of Hope!
