Sage's Army, founded in March 2012 by Carmen Capozzi following the overdose death of his 20-year-old son, Sage, is dedicated to offering programs and services designed to raise awareness of all types of drug abuse and to compassionately support those seeking recovery. Though Sage’s Army provides various programs and services designed to promote awareness, compassion and action in the community, the organization’s core message is a simple one. Drugs do not discriminate. Addiction will touch the lives of many, and we all have an obligation to listen to those in need and support their recovery without prejudice or discrimination. Sage’s Army supporters do not judge, turn away or hide in shame. They fight the epidemic through understanding how addiction affects the lives of those they care about and they get involved – providing education, resources, encouragement and love.
The recent South Carolina Shooting lets us know the seriousness of the drugs that are in people's bodies given by legal drug pushers such as big name pharmaceuticals. What do they know that they will not tell. Al Sharpton is to arrive in Charleston, S.C., no further racial tension is needed...teach Jesus. News, that You can Use as it relates to the Bible and End Times.
Tonight, on The Nadi: we'll look at funerals and death and the customs that have surrounded them. Do we, as a faith-based community, handle them accordingly? Then, we'll look at the rise of drugs within the community in lieu of the article in this month's issue of The Chaldean News: including the use of Heroin. More cases are coming out in the open, and it's becoming less taboo. What can be done to deal with this issue? Listeners are encouraged to call in at 347-857-3847. Tune in tonight from 9PM-11PM
