Are you achieving the life and financial success you desire?
This Brooklyn native found early success in sales. With Wyndham Vacation Ownership, Kinja worked diligently with men and women to assist them in making dreams come true. It was during that time that fine-tuned his skills and recognized the power of communication…the power of words. Kinja’s efforts eventually led to him becoming a top salesperson, and in 2013 those efforts were recognized worldwide when he was awarded the Golden Stevie Award and the American Resort Development Association award.
Before Kinja Dixon, no individual had ever won both awards in the same year.

Tonight's special guest is Penny Booth-Johnson from St Croix Falls, Wisconsin, a survivor and activist who's joining us for the first time. Among other things, she's been involved in "Million March Against Child Abuse," a Nationwide effort to bring voices together in making an impact, being a voice for our children. Penny explains, "My memories go back as far as probably before I was 2, being picked up and thrown into canning jars. I have enough scars on my head and you could draw a road map across country on my scalp." She goes on, "My mother was the abuser. Everyone knew, but no one stood up. Years of her abuse had taken a toll on not only my body but my mind." For a number of years, Penny had been what she calls "a keyboard advocate" sharing very little of herself and hiding behind a computer screen. Recovering from a stroke and news of a brain tumor got her into action. "I knew I had to do something, and determined I was going to become an advocate that was no longer going to hide behind my screen. In September of 2013, I contacted "Million March Against Child Abuse" and became a Lead Coordinator for St. Croix Falls WI, and held my first Walk against Child Abuse April 5th 2014." She concludes, "I'm ready to tell my story. Yesterday I lived in shame of my scars. Today I soar past them to tell other peoples stories, to be a voice. I thank you for this opportunity, and I only pray that when I have the opportunity to tell MY story it will help others come forwards and erase the stigma of shame and we can continue to grow for our future generation."

Tonight's Topic: LightWorkers and their Mystical Abilities
Time: 7:00-9:00 pm
Date: Monday, June 29, 2015
Guest: Professor Jamela Franklin
The following excerpts are from Doreen Virtue's book entitled The Lightworker's Way
Lightworkers are those who volunteered, before birth, to help the planet and its population heal from the effects of fear. Each lightworker is here for a sacred purpose. Very often, however, life on earth with its material focus creates a form of amnesia in lightworkers. They then forget their divine and perfect identities, and also their abilities to miraculously help the earth and all living creatures. When lightworkers forget their true identity and purpose, they feel lost and afraid.
Listen to find out more about the mystical gifts that LightWorkers came to planet earth to share.

Brian and Brandon's shared interest in photography began their conversation. Brian served as Brandon's mentor, helping him cope with abuse at home and bullying at school, and providing shelter when Brandon was thrown out of his home a few months before high school graduation and ongoing support in the years that followed. Brandon has finished college and is working on a graduate degree, and became Brian's adopted adult son in 2013. For Brian, becoming a father in his '60s was a significant commitment and a major change.
