SORT BY Relevancy
I believe the reason I'm Christian today is because someone prayed or me. Every day someone is praying for someone else. Did you know that someone prayed or is praying for you? We may never know who did but the prayer of a righteous person avails much. There's the saying that prayer changes things and it does. Today's lesson is a reminder that prayer is a conduit to God not tobe taken lightly.
With everything that has been going on in the media with the young man who claims he is no longer gay because he has "prayed it away and been cured.." we thought we would open our show to calls and thoughts on this issue. Can sexual it really be changed by the power of prayer? And how can you cure something that isn't an illness? If you haven't seen the video yet, log into youtube and type "prayed my gay away"
Call us Sunday night at 9 pm EST 6467168772 or stream live to hear our thoughts!
You can be prayed up and out of sin but if you don't pay your bills your power could be turned off.
You can't pray your lights back on.
Daniel 9:3-4 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:
4 And I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;
2 Chronicles 7:12-14 And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.
13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Tonight's broadcast celebrates life, love, friendship and a realization that we never know how our prayer touches other people. As George Michael states it in his song White Light "Was it music that saved me, or the way that you prayed for me!" 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Tonight we pray for one another and in this broadcast I dedicate it to my sister Maureen Rapier who has been battling cancer for many years. As it has metasticized to other areas of her body, I ask you to pray for her. It is also dedicated to my other sister Marissa Rapier, who as recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. I also remember my mother who lost her battle against ovarian cancer on this very day, 33 years ago. I find hope in the belief that we will find a cure for cancer in our lifetime. I believe that it is the prayer and faith in a greater power and love that we are able to continue to rejoice in our families and friends through the darkest of time. Hope ensures that there is a flame that continues to light the way!

Do you have something before the Lord for which you are earnestly awaiting an answer? Have you thought about what happened while you prayed the first time about your situation? (See Daniel 9: 23)
I submit to you that when we pray, actions are set in motion in the heavenlies to bring God's answer into manifestation in the earth realm but we must hold on with an understanding of what happended while we prayed the first time. This helps us to stand in agreement with the move of God in order to see the manifestation of His will. Join us again this week as we unlock the treasures of God's word as it relates to your life and mine. This is another opportunity for a move of God on "When Passion Meets Purpose."

PRAYER CAN CHANGE ANYTHING!!
Acts 16:25-26 (KJV)
