What comes to your mind when you think about the great love of God that was displayed more than 2000 years ago when he sent his one and only Son to die for the sin of all mankind? With the celebration of Easter around the corner, As Christians it should really cause us to reflect on our own sin and how we deserved death. It should also leave us with love, grattitude and great joy in knowing that by "His stripes we are healed from the bondage, decay and chains of sin. And though we still battle today we can confidently rest assured that we daily have an advocate to go to in time of need, leaving that sin that so easily entangles us at the foot of the Cross. Only then can we experience true freedom and understand its power.

You’ll remember, friends, that when I first came to you to let you in on God’s master stroke, I didn’t try to impress you with polished speeches and the latest philosophy. I deliberately kept it plain and simple: first Jesus and who he is; then Jesus and what he did—Jesus crucified.
3-5 I was unsure of how to go about this, and felt totally inadequate—I was scared to death, if you want the truth of it—and so nothing I said could have impressed you or anyone else. But the Message came through anyway. God’s Spirit and God’s power did it, which made it clear that your life of faith is a response to God’s power, not to some fancy mental or emotional footwork by me or anyone else. 1 Cor. 1-5

There is perhaps nothing more powerful than a humble heart. Humility, the most misunderstood of all virtues, is the ability to accept and acknowledge God’s opinion and perspective in our lives. This is where the power lies. The moment we accept and embrace God’s perspective, we are endowed with the ability to share in His strength and am able to flow in His plan. This level of empowerment is often missed in our traditional understanding of humility. Typically, when defining humility, most would only associate it with being lowly in spirit, but this is incomplete. This is why far more attention is placed on the interaction of the physical attraction two people share. True humility, simply put, is being sensitive to God’s perspective in our lives. This definition allows variety in our personality while keeping the emphasis on embracing God’s perspective. Regarding this level of empowerment, Psalm 149:4 states, “For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.” The surest way to victory is to embrace God’s perspective and that is that he “takes delight in his people." When we know God’s love for us, we are empowered to be truly humble and our focus is sharpened beyond the temporary illusions that are often created by the longings of our libido. As we further strive to achieve and maintain a life defined by humility and a relationship that is filled with love, how does humility factor into this process? Listen in as we share our thought on the power of humility and its value beyond reliance on the longing of our loins.
if you wonder whether you may be codependent, you’re not alone. Different types of people may behave in a codependent manner, and codependence manifests in varying degrees of severity. Not all codependents are unhappy, while others live in pain or quiet desperation. Codependency is not something you heal from and are forever done with, but you can enjoy yourself, your life, and your relationships. Should you choose to embark on recovery, you’re beginning an exciting and empowering journey.
Matthew 28:16-20 NKJV
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them.
17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

All things are possible to them that believe, I believe!
20 He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.
Blessed is the man that finds wisdom because length of days is in her right hand and riches and honor in her left hand.
2 Peter 1:2-7
3 ... His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
