THE SHRINE OF THE SACRED KOK - Making YOU look better since 2011
In this episode, Pastor Brian will catch up on the weekly news updates from a Christian perspective. In addition, Pastor Brian will discuss the four views concerning the millennial reign of Christ. The four views are normally considered to be the Amillennial, Postmillennial, Dispensational Premillennial, and Historical Premillennial views. What are these views and which seems to fit the biblical data best?
In addition, Pastor Brian will examine the controversy surrounding Kirk Cameron's movie "Saving Christmas" and argues that Christians can become too cynical and serious at times. Plus, Pastor Brian will comment on Christian news around the world.

THE MORE things change, the more they stay the same. From the Old Testament through the present day, much of Jewish history is of surviving repeated attempts at extermination. Dr. Thomas Ice, Executive Director of the Pre-Trib Research Center, explains why the world has been aligned against Israel almost since the very beginning of its history.

Postmillennialism, with its Utopian view of the future, fell on hard times during this century, following two world wars and the unmatched inhumanities of Communism inspired by both the Soviets and Chinese. In addition, because postmillennialism allegorizes prophecy, this view has not had much acceptance among Bible-believing Christians. In recent years reconstructionists and dominionists have tried to revive it, but it has made few inroads among those who take a literal view of prophecy. For example, Revelation 20, which six times in six verses indicates that the length of the kingdom age will be 1,000 years, must be taken either literally or figuratively. If you take those statements literally, you are probably a premillennialist. If you take them symbolically, you are probably either a postmillennialist or amillennialist. There are, however, some fine Christians who take the Bible literally (yet interpret prophecy symbolically, although it is my belief that doing so creates more problems than it solves).

Various Views of the Kingdom
During the 2,000-year history of the church there have been three primary views of our Lord's return in relation to the millennial kingdom. These views are called premillennialism, postmillennialism, and amillennialism.
First, let's look at Premillennialism. This is the oldest of the views, which dominated the thinking of the early Christians for the first three centuries. Basically the prefix pre means that Christ will come again before the kingdom or 1,000-year millennium. This is the view held in this book.
Now, let's look at Amillennialism. A indicates "no," meaning that no literal millennium is expected by those who hold this view. They believe that the spiritual kingdom of Christ has operated simultaneously with the earthly satanic kingdom for 2,000 years, and that there will be only one general resurrection (when Christ will separate the saved and lost), followed by heaven.

“Winning is not a sometime thing, it is an all the time thing. You don’t do things right once in a while…you do them right all the time.” –Vince Lombardi
You have heard the statement over and over. “It’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how you play the game.” Is this a correct statement and what happens when this principle is accepted by the Church, a business, or a nation? Does winning or success tell us something about the characteristics of the winner and/or the loser? Is losing bad luck or lack of virtue?
The Church is losing on all fronts due to lack of virtue not bad luck. The only way this turns around is for the pure Church to rise from the ash heaps of second-rate Christianity. The Church must recover the virtues that produce victory! Recover a vision for victory and restore the tradition, pride, and excellence that comes from working hard in truth.

“For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm. They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men. Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment. Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.” —Psalm 73:3-7
We all feel it! Everyday we wake up wondering what has happened to our nation. We are like strangers in a strange land. We cry with a loud voice, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?" (Revelation 6:10)
In times like these what can the righteous do? Find out on the next Standing Firm Webcast, live this Friday at 12:00 p.m. (EST) on Blog Talk Radio.
"And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;" -2 Corinthians 5:18
The 1900's largely depicts the failure of the American Church to persevere as the "pillar and ground of the truth." The reason we have failed in the family and in civil society is due to the Church losing its way. What is the Church? What is its purpose? Don't miss this foundational topic to reclaim America! The Covenanter Report airs live on Blog Talk Radio each Friday at 12:00 pm (noon). All broadcasts can be heard or downloaded free on demand at your convenience. The Covenanter Report is a ministry of Covenant Commission.
We live in unprecedented times in America. Conservative Christians I have know my whole life are throwing in the towel. These are people I have stood shoulder to shoulder with to oppose tyranny, proclaim the Gospel, and valiantly contend for the faith. Yet today, they are hopeless, helpless, lifeless as they grovel at the feet of Christ's enemies. No, they still attend church, they still go through the motions, but the life that once inspired them to courageous acts is dead. Don't miss The Covenanter Report to find out how and why this is happening. Most importantly, what do we do in the midst of this storm?
What exactly does the birth of Christ mean for mankind and the world? In a day of hopelessness and despair, reignite the blessed truth of the child born in a manger.
"Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord." -Luke 2:10-11
