Tonights featured guest will be Angelika Krohn, creator of the “The Power of Play” workshops for teachers. “The Power of Play and giving Form to Feelings” is about Theater games to enrich children’s cognitive learning in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Angelika Krohn conducts workshops for teachers and parents that are interested in more creative forms of learning through play. Angelika has a BA in Theatre from the University of British Columbia Canada and taught developmental drama in the schools of London Ontario where she was awarded a Canada Council grant for her thesis, “The Power of Play.” Angelika’s concern was not to make kids into actors but rather to help them discover who they were, to build character, courage, curiosity and a sense of confidence within their social environment.

Joim RevKess and KaliSara as they have a conversation with author and mystic Rev. Judith Laxer about her new book Along the Wheel of Time: Sacred Stories for Nature Lovers.
Book Description: Following the spiritual model of the Pagan Wheel of the Year, Along the Wheel of Time:Sacred Stories for Nature Lovers is comprised of eight short fictional stories to accompany the natural Earth holy days called sabbats. Through the experience of the characters, these stories demonstrate how the changing of the seasons is a spiritual model for the soul. From a young woman’s experience giving birth on the Winter Solstice, to a daughter’s grief healed in a Spring time garden, to an Autumn journey to the realm of the Ancestors, to a ceremony of mature sexuality at the peak of Summer, these are stories of magickal realism in ordinary life.
Author Bio: Rev. Judith Laxer is a modern day mystic who believes that humor, beauty and the wonders of nature make life worth living. She is the founding Priestess of Gaia’s Temple, an inclusive, Earth-based Ministry where she has written and delivered monthly worship services since 2000. Her writing has been featured in Spindleweed Magazine, The Women of Wisdom Anthology, Witches and Pagans Magazine, Living in Season and The Medulla Review. A teacher of the Mysteries, Judith is a keynote speaker and has offered classes and workshops on the return of the Divine Feminine in conferences nationally. She treasures her profession and dedicates her work to restoring the balance of female and male energies in our culture.
Podcasts of her monthly services at Gaia's Temple can be found on iTunes and through PodBean.
