During the nearly five and a half years of the Obama presidency, America has been moving in the wrong direction. The U.S. economy continues to struggle through the longest and slowest recovery from recession since World War II. From Benghazi to Ukraine, U.S. foreign policy has collapsed. U.S. world leadership has receded to a low not seen since the 1930s. Have we hit bottom yet?
Despite the appalling state of affairs, we might be optimistic about the future if it wasn’t politics as usual in Washington, D.C. President Obama, and Democrats in Congress continue to campaign on manufactured issues—Republicans’ war on women, income inequality, and global warming—intended to distract Americans from President Obama’s failed leadership. Republicans, on the other hand, continue to play whack-a-mole politics, failing to provide Americans with a specific vision for America’s resurgence, and ineptly investigate Obama administration scandals. 2014 is our last best hope to fire the life-time politicians and replace them with Patriots.

On this weeks podcast, Patriots Beat dives into recaping the NFL Offseason. The NFL Draft is only a few short weeks away. We will look into fits for the Patriots at number 29 overall.
We will also be taking a look at the New England Patriots needs that still need to be filled before training camp. Is there a particular free agent that could help? Is the upgrade already on the roster? Does the draft hold that key starter?

Rumors fly, but the two things stand sure, the Patriots acted and the fed and their private contractors backed down, and the American people did not scream and fuss that a bunch of terrorist were taking over Nevada. So what does this all tell you?
Come join me for the bottom line and what we can start doing to help support all those who took a stand. We can do this, we are not alone, and its time we started being patriotically aggressive. We will discuss briefly what this all means but I want to focus on what we WILL DO here in Montana.
Join me, tell your friends to get online, get on the phone and lets take our state back. We have a plan, we have the brains, and we have the.....well you get the idea.
Come ask questions, listen and be part of re-founding this nation.

“To victims of terrorism whose innocence was ripped out of them with the unseeing heartlessness of bomb shrapnel.”
A Mangled Marathon takes reports of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings a step beyond the terrorist blasts that killed three persons and injured more than 260.
It reports on the legal defense of the prime suspect, how victims are coping and the broader social implications of the bombings.
In a note to the reader, the author writes, “Although this book focuses on the April 15, 2013 bombings at the Boston Marathon, its victims and the prosecution of the prime suspect, it is equally about “lone wolf” terrorists. Lone wolves refer to terrorists who plot their attacks alone, usually with no organization to support them and no official links to violent groups. There is almost no way to know their next target until they strike. U.S. intelligence agencies call them perhaps the biggest terrorist threat to the United States and its allies.”
“But before the race was over, few people cared who won or lost. Boston’s Patriots Day, a day of festivities to celebrate the American Revolution, was about to become the latest nightmare in America’s ongoing war on terrorism…”
“The pungent smell of gunpowder hung in the air while shrapnel, ball bearings and nails littered the streets near the blast sites. Spectators left behind backpacks, cell phones and handmade signs with runners’ names. Doctors at Brigham and Women’s Hospital later treated one patient whose body had been pierced by 12 carpenter’s nails.”
A Mangled Marathon was written by veteran journalist and Washington, D.C., lawyer Tom Ramstack. He has reported on court cases for much of his three decades career as a journalist as well as defended a few criminal defendants.
