Why Is The Economy Better Under Democrats?
A few weeks ago Chuck Todd interviewed a Princeton economist who did some research on economic performance based on the president in office. Something that many new empirically became obvious. Specifically, the economy does substantially better under Democratic Presidents than under Republican President irrespective of which party holds Congress.
When I watched the interview I was perplexed. Inasmuch as the empirical evidence was irrefutable, both Chuck Todd and the Princeton economist attempted to waiver in the conclusions. From a scientific perspective one wants to eliminate the possibility that this is just a random set of events.
I recorded the interview but did nothing with it because I wanted to read the entire report to see if there was reason for the professor’s apprehension to simply make the blanket statement that in fact because of certain ideological realties an economy like the US does better with a Democrat at the helm.
After reading the report one had to be upset with the economist’s apprehension. This man went through hoops to not sound partisan. In the process he hurts hi credibility and his very thorough research. One cannot help but ask if he felt he had to take this stance to avoid ‘repercussions.’
Today I want to discuss the report. On Monday on Politics Done Right on KPFT 90.1 FM the topic will be why it is essential that news gets crowd sourced. I will have four bloggers on discussing why it is imperative to make the current traditional news media irrelevant. The reporting of the Princeton economist’s report is probative.

This week was a bad week for our democracy. The Supreme Court removed the aggregate limit of dollars that anyone can spend in any election cycle. Only around 646 people reached that limit in the 2011-2012 election cycle. In other words, the Supreme Court ruled that those 646 people’s right of free speech was denied.
This makes the smoking out of wealthy donors that are corrupting the body politic that more important. Senator Harry Reid has begun the process by calling out the Koch Brothers on the floor of the Senate. That seemed to have hurt Charles Koch’s feelings. He penned an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal in which he referred to those who do not see the world as a plutocrat’s domain as collectivists. Let’s talk about that.

Can Obamacare be the winning message in November?
This was a great week. Contrary to the naysayers, Obamacare crossed the 6 million people mark. This does not include all those that received healthcare for the first time via the Medicaid Expansion to Obamacare nor the 3 million plus young people remaining on their parent’s insurance. This is a good and moral thing. Peoples’ lives are being saved.
Obamacare should be a winning message in November for any politician who is honest about the law. It is time to stop cowering and be bold and support a policy that helps the poor and the working middle class. What do you think?
This week I interviewed Ben Cohen, founder of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, on Move To Amend Reports with cohost Laura Bonham. He is one example of millions of one percent-ers that need to be highlighted. He is not clouded by the need to hoard capital. Ben Cohen is roaming the entire country with his Stamps Stampede campaign building awareness to get money out of politics.

While Republicans are terrified of Hillary Clinton, their policies have morphed into a basic hatred of women. We have seen the right wing hatred of minorities on display during the Obama presidency, but this combined with a hatred of women is pushing the GOP to new lows.
It can be said that if you invite someone back, you must have enjoyed your first visit with them. Well, that's certainly true of the three guests that we are honored to welcome back on this special Thursday edition of The Social Spitball Show with Bram Sarkowski & featuring co-host Barbara Dee.
*At the start of the show, we welcome back Chris Hyepock, who is running as a Democrat to reclaim the Governor's Office for Nevada.
This young candidate is carefully making his way around the state to listen to the voters and to the Nevadans he will represent. Like any Good Democrat, Mr. Hyepock puts the needs of the people before partisan politics.
Catch him at the top of the 7 pm Eastern hour: http://www.chrishyepock.com/
*Our second guest was on most recently of the three, but he has made great strides in his campaign for Georgia Senate as a common ground/common sense Democrat in Georgia's 30th Senate District.
Mr. Nixon is a body modification artist, so his appearance would be different in the Georgia legislature. As he said, though, "I may look different, but Georgia needs different." With so many people (children especially) struggling in the state of Georgia, Mr. Nixon offers "Wisdom, Justice, Moderation."
You can catch him from around 7:30-8 pm Eastern: http://www.jamesharrisonnixon2014.com/
*Our third returning guest is also running for state Senate, but for Florida Senate, District 32.
Mr. Moore is also running to represent the people with a common ground/ common sense approach to governance. He stands for the least of these.
Please tune in at the top of the 8 pm Eastern hour to catch this great candidate from the Sunshine State: http://www.brunoforsenate.com/
It will be great to visit with these 3 again! Let's get the conversation going...
Tune in weekly as Ken Moellman addresses major issues, in Kentucky and the nation, and provides solutions based in liberty.
Ken Moellman is a political activist who has been a campaign manager, candidate, and party leader. He currently serves as the Chair of the Libertarian Party of Kentucky.

Here at The I Love Politics show discussions are about praise, politics and productivity. Finding a place for each of these in our daily lives produces prosperity. These are subjects we all should find ways to be involved in if we want a true United States of America. Take these topics to heart. Identify what you see as an immediate need for a better society. Find ways to see the need you identify become reality. We have to be the change and we each must find ourselves taking action, if we desire an enconomy and a society that is strong, healthy, and safe. We begin our week on Sundays by people traveling across communities and across cities going to worship. The worship process varies as well as the people involved varies. Be the change you seek. Lead the way starting in your place of worship, America.
