Sunday, May 3rd, 11pm est . 8pm pac ... IWTK: Police Brutality: Baltimore Raving. Well, police brutality never leaves us with nothing to talk about, and sadly next week, it'll be another case. Sad to say, that's the norm. We gonna be discussing tis topic, yet again!

Many have been unfairly harrassed by police, driving whie black, sitting while black, walking while black, breathing while black, that seems to be the only offense they committed. But blackness is not a crime, and of the 250,000 stop and frisk incidents recorded by police in the first quarter of 2015, the vast majority were African Americans, who were let go without any charges. This is unconstitutional, and today's guests, from the lawfirm of Romanucci and Blandin, will explain the Federal Class Action lawsuit filed on behalf of those who have been unlawfully stopped and searched by police. Rev. Paul Jakes has organized an effort to spread the word to those who have been harrassed without cause within the last two years to enable them to be a part of the lawsuit.
The Back Story is an online journal of fact (original reporting) and opinion. It is specifically intended to be an alternative to the local newspaper, where certain news items are under-reported (or not reported at all), where not all points of view make it into print, and where current economic conditions have rendered investigative reporting all but extinct.
The emphasis will be on the Stanislaus County area: political, economic, social, cultural that affect those of us who live here.
We are not suggesting that we are going to supplant the daily newspaper, but we ARE stating that there is a considerable gap between what happens in and around our communities and what is reported, and we propose to fill that gap.
There are individuals, groups and concepts that are considered untouchable, and we think that is very unhealthy and downright dangerous to the concept of representative democracy.
There’s a lot going on in our city that affects you – events and issues you need to know about. The Bee has failed us as a reliable news source. You have to look further than the Modesto Bee. Fortunately, you have a choice with news and comment by Mayor Sabatino.
You can get the REAL facts about important local issues on The Back Story.
Streaming to your computer @ http://www.blogtalkradio.com/thebackstory – from 11:30 to noon daily. Again – that is The Back Story – daily from 11:30 to noon.
You will notice the difference.

This episode is for family of young minorities who have been killed by police to organize and share resources to get justice in the legal system and publicize their cases. We will create networks for family members, especially mothers who are of limited means to work with the media and find proper legal counsel
We have another case in the news of a black man being killed by the police. This has brought out activists, race pimps, students, pastors, and just about everybody else for Freddie Gray. One thing the media won't touch is the fact Freddie Gray and many of the other black men had long history of criminal activities. They were already headed down the road to be dead by their actions. Why am I suppose to be marching for them when you can say with almost certainty they have participated in activities that has lead to injury and death of other black men? The problem is we have everybody marching after these black men are killed but nobody stepping in before these clowns start their criminal careers. These hoodlums are the reasons other hoodlums are tearing up their neighborhood and innocent people are suffering from the loss of property and amenities. Now it is the problem that the National Guard and a heavier police presence is required to restore law and order. Tell me why are we blinking an eye at this foolishness. Now the State's Attorney has decided to file charges against the six police officers for the death of Freddie Gray
In this episode of Bringing Voices To Power I talk with Andrew Kreig Executive Director of the Justice Integrity Project and author of the book Presidentail Puppetry: Obama, Romney and Their Masters. The Justice Integrity Project researches official misconduct. Andrew Kreig delivers blunt, entertaining cutting-edge commentary about public affairs, with practical tips for the millions of Americans caught up in unfair litigation or regulation. Based in Washington, DC, Andrew is an accomplished fighter for the public interest. Learn from his decades of reporting, analysis and advocacy: Shocking tales of recent corruption, deception and cover-up by both parties in communities ranging from small towns to world capitals; and practical how-to tips for reformers on action that brings real-world results. Presidential Puppetry documents what many millions have long suspected: secretive elites guide our government leaders. Puppetry reveals scandals and shows why Congress, courts, and other watchdog institutions fail to report key facts about even the biggest news makers.

With the recent riots in Baltimore it would not be right not to discuss this issue of police brutality. For years black men have felt that the police have mistreated them and even killed them based on the color of their skin. With the deaths of Eric Garner, Michael Brown, Walter Scott, Freddy Gray and countless others, has brought outrage amoung many Americans. They fell that the system designed to protect them is acutally out to kill them. This Thursday at 8:00 PM live on As Real As It Gets Radio Show join my co-hosts Amber (AJ) Jones, Kristin (K'Mecca) Zuller and I as we discuss this topic.
