“The assassination of Malcolm X upset a good part of the American public. We were upset, and we tend to remain a bit on edge, not because Malcolm was a martyr to the cause of civil rights or because of any inherent contributions. he may have made to the solution of our race problems, but because he was the no compromising symbol of resistance and the spokesman for the non-nonviolent “black man” in America. We were uneasy because the murder of Malcolm X could have set off a Chinese type “tong war” within the black nationalist factions striving for leadership of the masses in the Harlem’s of America
We were aghast and dismayed by the 1964 Summer riots, by the looting and the wanton destruction of property, but the riots were not organized and led by any recognized leader, and they were riots against property rather than against people. They expressed the resentment and the hatred of the frustrated, pinned up Harlem lower class, but there were few instances of attacks against the human objects of this furry, which included the Negro middle class no less than the hated Jew and the “blue-eyed devils” whose commercial presence in Harlem is exasperatingly ubiquitous and so bitterly resented.”

And here we are at my most recent pair of guest-hosting gigs on Constitution Radio, full of #NeverTrumpy goodness - but with a warning to our side and the GOP leadership: Don't try to fiddle with the rules after the fact or "challenge" duly bound Trump delegates or pull any other monkey business at the Cleveland convention and lend credence to what should remain whiny, bogus nonsense. Don't turn the millionaire slumlord into the martyr he craves to be. There may not be any such thing as winning by losing, but there definitely is such a thing as losing with dignity - and the moral high ground that will give us the right to say, "SEE, WE TOLD YOU SO!" when it's all mercifully over. Assuming it ever is.
And yes, dear old Dad's VA Aid & Attendance pension application paperwork is all done....excecpt for the physician's report, which will require an office visit...two weeks from now. But was zum Teufel, you can only do what you can you, right?

Black women have been scrutinized over the years for their 'ethnic' looks. Oftentimes this results in changes that make them appear more Eurocentric than necessary. Over the years rap legend Lil Kim has endured extensive plastic surgeries to change her look. A most recent pic shows the most dramatic transformation yet. She has literally changed hues and now resembles a blonde haired white woman. In her own words:
"All my life men have told me I wasn’t pretty enough—even the men I was dating. And I’d be like, ‘Well, why are you with me, then?’” It’s always been men putting me down just like my dad. To this day when someone says I’m cute, I can’t see it. I don’t see it no matter what anybody says.”
Is it the fault of the black community that so many black women want to change their appearance? Is there a lack of affirmation for black women with natural looks, shape and style? Have we forgotten about Sarah Baartman?
This show will discuss the how this impacts the black community and what should be done to instill a deeper sense of 'Black Pride'.

Topics will include what she has going on since we last seen her, questions about the industry so far and what it's like in the entertainment world
